I own the Crucible Series. They were made for the 40th anniversary and try to only reference actual episodes/movies and not events from other books. They manage to tie in continuity to TOS that would otherwise not be apparent, using "City on the Edge of Forever" as the event that changes each of the "trinity". The Kirk book has some weird stuff with the Nexus, but overall its not terrible.

I love how we all have the same reaction, admission of terror, then desire to see it.

So they made an animated logo for something that we'll probably never see in motion. OK.

They are releasing a 3D Blu-ray of Wizard of Oz. I wonder how they handled the matte painting walls that are always within view. I honestly think 3D will cheapen the presentation.

Yes, this movie looks to play on every fear of space I've ever had. Great.
