Since ANHRSEHD will more than likely be sourced from the Blu-ray, this will not be a problem.

Is it just me or does "ANHRSEHD" look like a new swear word?
I had to expand it from my first acronym "ARSE" (ANH Revisited Special Edition). ;-)

Video Games - a general discussion thread

We randomly went to Kmart yesterday, they had the MGS HD Collection for $15, I couldn't resist. They also had the new Zelda 3DS game, which we bought. We'd sold our 3DS a few months ago, so we went to Gamestop to buy a new one. Ended up not being able to choose between the 2DS or an XL, so we got both.

Someday we'll stop impulse purchasing. Yesterday was not that day.

We also bought Super Mario 3D Land and Pokemon X. Haven't played those yet, but MGS2 HD looks how I remember it (how rose-tinted our view of the graphics of old video games are). Zelda takes place in the same overworld as Link to the Past (my favorite game), so there's a lot of familiarity there for me.

We've been watching American Horror Story. I like the idea of every season being different and actually trying to tell a story with a beginning, middle, and end without trying to keep a dying show alive year after year, but so far, the first two seasons seemed to have a really rushed endings. like they have 15 episodes worth of stories and are trying to fit them into 13. I also like that they have a lot of the same cast in completely different roles. And Jessica Lange is extraordinary in all of them.

Also, a fun game to play is to watch the films and try to guess how things were different at some point of production. Things like the whole Bolg/Azog actor changes. Given that Bolg and Azog are both CG, and knowing what they did with Sauron-->Troll in ROTK, I suspect that Legolas's fight at the end of DoS was originally against the earlier version of Azog.
One of the Production Dairies shows some Legolas fighting a guy in a mocap suit, so it was never against the man-in-suit Azog.
