I'm assuming you all know about this:
http://deadhomersociety.com/
I was one of those kids that grew up being forbidden to watch it, so it's never been nostalgic for me. I appreciate the early episodes I've seen, but I wouldn't call myself a fan.
This article on The Verge is supposed to be proving The Simpson's continued relevance, but it sounds like the same things everyone has been saying about Google Glass.
http://www.theverge.com/2014/1/27/5349316/the-simpsons-may-have-the-smartest-thoughts-yet-about-google-glass
*DISCLOSURE: I've never been a fan of Simpsons*
I swore that if Young Han showed up in Episode III that I would simply stand up and walk out of the theater. If I were somehow affiliated with that happening, I would have to leave myself.
*NPS continued*
What would Han be doing that would deserve cutting away from the main action to show some kid doing things that have NOTHING to do with the main plot?
Son, you came to the wrong place.OBI-WAN37 said:
No, I just don't see it. I don't know why so many of the original-trilogy-fans tend to hate the prequels. I guess it's just a cultural phenomena. I love the prequels.
I think Latino Review's MO is to publish every single rumor as fact, then only point to the ones that actually happen when asked to prove their worth.
This particular article has the most vague source, no details, and is mostly conjecture/obvious.
"We can expect it to take place in the middle of a Venn Diagram between Star Wars and A Pixar Movie, and what that means to you depends on your definition of both."
Which basically means, "We don't know, use your imagination!"
Good for you!
I'm going to focus on exclusives, but multi-platform games I might have missed (of which Bioshock is not one) can also be suggested.
Alright, I will, even if you won't be able to see this due to the Ignore.xhonzi said:

Do it or else.
I'm not sure such a thing is possible. If it doesn't use some kind of cloud-based login and just saves them to your local device, there wouldn't be a way to transfer them. What game is this?
I never said that I was ONLY going to play exclusives. Besides, most of these were literally handed to me in a grocery bag. Heck, I've purchased, beat, and sold LEGO Star Wars years ago.xhonzi said:
An odd mix on non-exclusives there, 005.
Are you telling me you've never played Bioshock? I feel an IGNORE coming on.I can neither confirm nor deny this.
I liked the Tron game, but you have to be really into Tron, I think, to come away with that experience. The online play is fun- try it for at least an hour if you do nothing else.I honestly won't even put this in my system.
I already made my comments on Uncharted. Keep the hype in check and I think you will enjoy it.I don't recall any of the hype, just that it was an exclusive. So that'll work.
Let me know what you think of Beyond Two Souls. I played Indigo Prophecy and that game was really weird. I didn't play Heavy Rain, but it looked really weird. I have to imagine that BTS is their weirdest yet.It has William Dafoe in it, I imagine its the weirdest thing ever.
Did the 7 year old have Bioshock, Uncharted and Skyrim? I don't usually tell other people how to parent their kids, but that's messed up.He's got 5 kids, none of them have killed anyone yet. ;-) I was hoping he'd let me borrow his Assassin's Creeds...
I value your opinions, and I will make mine known once I have played some.

is there any way the rancor could be made to fart when it has hold of luke in its little den? and then luke could get a sniff of it and the rancor could say something like "my tits have been digitally enhanced. they may not look much to you, as i grasp you here in my massive hand, but when you see this on BR, they'll be really really awesome and that." there could then be some music from the sound of music (i'm thinking curtain/play clothes song, only backwards) and this could get louder and louder for the next 55 minutes. oh - while i remember - the rancor keeper - get rid of him and replace him with a mist. or tits. or both. or neither. but tits.
I've had the PS3 for one day, I already am in possession of the following:
Owned:
Last of Us
BEYOND: Two Souls
Batman Arkham Origins
Best of PSN, Vol 1
Borrowing:
Skyrim
Tron Evolution
LEGO Star Wars Complete
Bioshock
Arkham Asylum
God of War 3
Uncharted: Drakes Fortune
I asked my friend if his (7 year old) son had any games he wasn't playing he'd think I'd like, so that's what I'm borrowing.
I haven't played any of them and I'm already overwhelmed. Did get to set up my PSN ID, which thankfully is doubleofive since it wasn't taken.
I've not watched any TableTop in a year or so. I feel ashamed. However, we did get Cards Against Humanity, which is hilarious if you don't mind saying/reading horrible things. Which is the idea.
You can find used PS3 exclusives laying on the ground at this point. I'm not sure how much these streaming games will cost, but they'll be more than $5-6 dollars I'm sure.Tobar said:
I've been wanting to get a PS3 for the exclusives for a while now. But a friend of mine is trying to convince me to just hold off and get a PS4 to play those games with Playstation Now.
It's apparently something to look for. The GameStop in my town doesn't have board games. Very odd.darth_ender said:
I wonder if our GameStop has board games as well. We have too few game stores here where I live.
Dreamcast is next on my list.
But seriously, I'll keep the PS3 around for a few years until the next gens get a price drop.
For some reason my wife and I convinced ourselves that we needed to buy both a Wii U and a PlayStation 3 (three). I guess I'm going to work my way through some PS3 exclusives shortly.
The Wii U is a ton of fun for party games, not sure we'll buy anything third party. Just a Nintendo machine.
Yes, it is.DarkRha said:
also is Luke's snowspeeder supposed to be full grey, without the red lines, as seen in the battle of hoth?
The GameStop in the Bloomington College Mall now has tabletop games. Ticket To Ride, Lords of Waterdeep, Magic The Gathering... Weird, like they don't make enough money off of reselling video games?
I'm pretty good at 1 and 2. 3 I've only worked with Wordpress.
I've also played Sir Dinadin in a local production of Camelot. Which gives me the advantage.
I'm pretty sure most DVD subtitles are actually generated by the player, so they'd be different depending on how/where you watch it.

Also, MST3K sucks. There are a handful of movies streaming on Netflix that I'd love to revisit, but I don't need three silhouettes telling me how goofy these obviously cheesy films are. I wish there was an option to turn them off and just enjoy Gamera for what it is.
