I found one at a used DVD store in Knoxville TN once, but I couldn't even justify spending the $12.50 on it.

I've never noticed the gloves. You're absolutely right, that is some badass stitching on the ANH gloves. Maybe they didn't like the vertical to horizontal stitching idea. It is a bit disorienting.

TrekMovie always had an overview. But yes, the phasers weren't redone because they never had clean plates to work from since they didn't have the original negatives, just the original final edit on film.

CBS' original plan was only to replace the space shots. Every other change took begging & justification on Dave Rossi & the Okuda's part.

It's true, their prequel plots are a lot better than the actual movies. I'm not sure why I stopped reading. I think the OT just wasn't cutting it for me.

I'm not saying the refit isn't great. It's my favorite too. But there's something about the classic curves of the original E that really make my warp core rumble.

Look forward to this sort of thing a lot in the future. This is the reason why Ady is going to be working on the rest of the movies all at once, so that when he hits a wall on how to do something or is waiting on another thing to dry he can poke in another one of the movies.

 It seems to me that once an HD version is completed the NTSC vs. PAL thing is no longer an issue.  Besides, who wants to go through all the trouble to make something like this just to crank it up so it plays too fast and all the music is off key just so a Pal version can exist?

While I like that Splinter of the Mind's Eye and the original Marvel comics are placed in their own separate timelines apart from the main EU, I do find it irksome that there's only one EU timeline and no timelines for the different versions of the OT.

 Maybe it would be fine to draw a thread from the PT to the SE-T, but it's completely offensive not to have the OOT set off with no connection to the PT, since there is no continuity between the PT and the OOT.
