What the heck is that? Why the heck is that?
What the heck is that? Why the heck is that?
I'm sure they'll be more fixes.
Well, since Alderaan was destroyed by SOMETHING, I'm sure everyone knows about the Death Star. It was designed to be known by all.
I think we decided if we take framing into account, we would be overwhelmed as each transfer has slightly different framing.
As for the added frames thing, I'm also not sure on those...
I want to apologize for making him come here to ask questions, but I was really tired of answering questions on Twitter. However, he still asks questions.
Hooray!
Very interesting. My wife and I started our third time through BSG a few weeks ago, so I just saw this episode again. It's as good as he says.
Looks like April 2013. ;-)Hal 9000 said:

I wish Ady would do RotJ:R first before moving on to the PT. But from the sounds of it, he's going to do RotJ:R and PT:R all at once.
Really, now? Where'd you hear that?
In most cases your argument would be understandable. But never in Star Wars.RU.08 said:
We're not talking about two different products, we're talking about the same thing released in different home video formats.

It you're willing to settle for a formerly-ostensibly-canon-thing-which-is-now-a-completely-non-canon-thing from the EU, then a year in the SW Galaxy is either ten months long or twelve months long (as one would expect from the EU, there's a lack of consistency).
I'm assuming all "years" are based on the Imperial definition of how long a year is, since a year is based on a planet revolving around its star and would depend on the planet assuming it works the same as earthly years. I would imagine there is some sort of official Republic or Empire time-keeping system in place
Did Dr Crow really copy and paste the entirety of JMS' reboot pitch? I'm really glad I have him on Ignore.
If you want to hear me talk about what I think on the JMS reboot, I talked about it for a good 45 minutes here.
This, my friends, is hilarious. Can you post a picture of this caption? Because wow.
I try, Mr. Wings.Bingowings said:
AR:SE:HD?
This acronym just gets ruder and more Scottish with each new iteration :-D
For me, there's just a lot of blank spaces between user's posts. I do think that some people are comparing the worth of two movies versus the worth of 172 episodes and wondering why there are more good things about the one with 43 times more content to succeed/fail at.
Here are the details on ANHRSEHD:

Short answer, no.
Speaking of myths, I'd like to bitch about Mythbusters doing a Simpsons special. Because THAT'S a show where I've sat and wondered "I wonder if that could really happen."
I hope these ridiculous specials is part of the reason the Build Team left.
I wondered that myself, but I seem to recall during the Flashback Montage of The First Avenger there was some of the One-Shot in there...Erik Pancakes said:
Also, for anyone wondering, the producers have said that the first season takes place before the One-Shot. I don't know if that means a theoretical second season would take place after it, or if the series as a whole will take place before, but I'd lean toward the former.
I've never been a slasher fan, but I did watch the first 8 (so far) Jason movies. I have to say that my ranking pretty much lines up with yours.Mondess122 said:
I also love Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason Lives, by far the best directed, written and possibly acted entry in that series. I really like that the filmmakers abandoned the boobs and blood for a moment to actually try to make a great film. How would you guys rank the Friday the 13th films? My ranking looks something like this:
1. Part 6
2. Part 2
3. Part 4
4. Friday the 13th (1980)
5. Freddy vs. Jason
6. Jason goes to Hell
7. Part 5
8. Jason X
9. Part 3
10. Part 7
11. Friday the 13th (2009)
12. Part 8

I've never walked out of the theater for any film, prequel or otherwise, no matter how bad. Don't get the reasoning behind such a decision.
It looks like people don't know there are other threads on this forum. Please go to them.
Because nothing promotes witchcraft like made-up latin words being in stories about the power of friendship.DuracellEnergizer said:
While I have virtually zero interest in anything Harry Potter, I may read the books just to give the finger to my mother who buys into that "Harry Potter promotes satanism/witchcraft" bullshit.
I think it works fine with the existing music. Dare I say, funnier?
I enjoy both the books and the movies, however I wish I was able to view them as separate entities. I started with just the movies. The first two were cute, but didn't affect me in any way. The third movie I found to be so far beyond that I still place it as one of my favorite films. It was after that point that the films really fell apart to me. Why? Because it was at that point that I started reading the books. I didn't want to, but the future-Mrs. O'Five was such a fan of the books that I knew I had to read them to catch up with her.
This was a mistake.
Every movie after that point, because I knew exactly what was going to happen when, I was tapping my foot waiting for my favorite part of the book to start. And that was the entirety of my enjoyment of them. I didn't find myself bitching about "it wasn't like that in the book", but only because I didn't want to be That Guy. The film twists were lost on me because I knew they were coming now. I wish I had experienced the films as films.
Anyway, it sounds like d_e is coming at it from the right angle, so good on you! The books are like the Extended Edition, they help you understand more about what happened and add some fun side quests.
Someone bought a domain for this.
I'm with Handman, I watched a couple episodes of Season 5 of TNG in the morning, then spent the rest of the day watching FRIENDS on Netflix with my wife.Handman said:
I recently got season 3 of TNG on BD, so I've been working my way through that. I must say, it's like watching the show for the very first time.
