This thread is the worse.

I've never understood the negative buzz for QOS, the film is just as good/bad/silly as Casino Royale and Skyfall is if anything more silly and less interesting (especially in the final act).
For me Casino Royale was excellent, Quantum of Solace okay and Skyfall rubbish.
The reason LTK didn't feel like a Bond film was because it was being too close to a Bond book (ironically considering the source material wasn't Fleming).
And his hair was too messy.

Superman Returns in my book is a much better film than Man Of Steel and not that bad at all.
At least the costume was proper. Undies on the outside or GTFO.
I haven't seen ST09 for a while. They probably just stood out more this time because I'm fearful for Episode VII. I don't want them either.
Finally saw STID. JJ's lens flares have never really bothered me before, but this time it was like he was deliberately being a prick about it. "Make fun of my lens flares, will you? TAKE THIS FUCKERS!" I really hope he gets this problem under control soon. Otherwise I didn't hate the movie.
I've become quite good at saving up whole seasons of TV and then watching them all in one hit, but I can't do it with Breaking Bad. So I guess I'm a BBaddict. But I refuse to inhale any speculation!
Handbrake should be able to deal with m2ts files. Your quality settings are probably too high - try to find the h.264 capabilities of your devices (max ref. frames etc.) and check these settings. Google handbrake + device name and you may find someone has figured out the best settings for your device already.
If the m2ts continues to cause trouble, you can always use mkvmerge to convert to mkv without re-encoding before opening in Handbrake.

The US pilot was included in the Smeg ups and it was dreadful.
Haha, it was definately a smeg up! I have no idea what they were thinking. Absolutely awful.

Definitely, man! That is annoying! However, I overuse that word big time, and get it right every time; so if you've read any of my posts lately, then you've probably seen someone get it right recently.
Not every time it seems :p
Glory to Arstotzka!
I like Red Wharf.
Sorry, many wurlitzers are missing from my database.
I am using Handbrake to make a smaller version of the Raiders WOWOW broadcast (which I would prefer to be cropped), but I am put off by the two black pixels on each side. How does this whatever-it-is (analog overscan?) affect the original aspect ratio? If I crop the top and bottom, should I crop the sides too, as Handbrake suggests?
fanedit.info
Some are only available on newsgroups but most can be downloaded with jdownloader. If you want a specific Star Wars fanedit that is not available you could try asking TV's Frink in this thread:
How do you get to be renowned? I mean, like, do you have to be 'nowned' first?
Off Topic - Now more unmoderated than ever!
Death to Vance Miller! Strike him down with a tvbracket, UK's top brand for tv brackets!

I've had the oppertunity to view "The Complete Star Wars Encyclopidia 2008". Whilst being mesmerized for a while, there are only so many WTF descriptions i could stand. I bailed out when it states Boba Fett escaped from the sarlac pit naked, then became a mandalorian king of some sort there after...Eh?....'that' was documented??? Its no wonder some most dont take the EU seriously
Needs more delibrate spelling misstakes. You speld Boba Fettt's name right fuck Ryan out loud*.
*Please note, this is a coincidence. It has nothing to do with my earlier exasperation in Ryan's thread, which was my bad. I have nothing against Ryan, I promise! I simply refuse to self-censor my terrible comedy and thus decided to spoil it it with an explanation that is wordier than the original post.
I hope you read this soon Darth Solo because I will be back to edit the shit out of this post in about half an hour.
N.B. - Would be posted in "buzzed thread" if it could be trusted. *shiftyeyes* :P
I wouldn't have sent you one if I knew that you asked here as well :p
Do yourself a favour Harmy, and update your first post to point peoples to the Off Topic Spleen thread.

One of the first things I need to figure out is what source to use. HD doesn't make any sense because I'm sure I'll be mixing in other sources that will only be available to me in SD. Having said that, I suppose I could use Harmy's Despec'd Editions, rendered down to SD quality. Other options include the 2004 DVDs (warts and all) and dark_jedi's GOUT sourced project. Whatever I use, I'll be using the accompanying audio so that everything syncs ok.
While SE ridiculousness would be more... ridiculous, I like that you seem to be leaning more towards theatrical ridiculousness. A source without burned-in subs would seem an important consideration.
Luke throws three or four skulls, missing the door control each time? Use the Force, Luke...
Boushh speaks in gibberish - dub her with the crazy cat lady from The Simpsons.
^ I was thinking that might work too. There are so many alternate 3PO lines from other sources.
"Hey Shorty, point that thing someplace else!"
*shock*
Bring back Bender! GOB will likely start running out of useful lines over the course of three movies, and Bender is a starship-travelling robot after all. I'll happily watch Futurama through again to help find some good lines.
Dear Internet,
Please learn to spell the word "definitely". I can't remember the last time I saw someone get it right.
1. Definately - Not a word.
2. Defiantly - Stop relying on your spellchecker and see point 1.
3. Definitively - Beat yourself over the head with a dictionary.
Sorry about your dog Warb.
On an unrelated note: Don't put chocolate biscuits in your pocket and then forget.
