Damn that art work looks good, and the red case!

Crom....I never prayed to you before, but grant me this Blu release...and if you don't, then the hell with you!!
Very nice! Can't wait!
Another sweet Team Blu fix! I'm all about the movie being on one Dual Layer BD-R, like Harmy said make the commentary lower bitrate so the movie stream isn't too compressed.

My guess is that the green tint may have been a mastering mistake but the over-all colder color palette was probably intentional. Plus as far as I know, they never admitted there was anything wrong with the colors, so I wouldn't expect a fixed version any time soon - the films came out as individual releases since, which would have been a great opportunity to fix the colors, since even people who have the boxed set, could just buy FOTR separately but that would mean they'd have to admit the timing to be wrong and then people could demand a replacement. And to market it as a remaster would be weird too, since the original EE BD release was already marketed as a remaster.
I have the boxset but would gladly shell out the money for a "fixed" version of FOTR if it were re-issued without the green. Them not admitting the mistake makes total sense though. If it really was intentional, wow :(
Yeah I think I may end up trying that script, it's really bad when you see a side by side comparison. The whole film bathed in green :(
Too many red faces for my liking in the wowow.
Haha, that's awesome. I remember a time when all those things didn't matter to me, color timing, matte lines. This site changed all that and now I can't unsee stuff. Thanks guys lol
Doesn't seem too bad! I may give it a shot actually. I was using MakeMKV to rip my Blu Rays to MKV....do you guys know of another program? Perhaps free or less than 50 bucks lol? Sorry for off topic.
Is the UK disc region locked?
Watched the Blu again this morning and I really do love the colors, especially in the Cairo scenes.
Grabbed the beautiful Italian Mondo version of The Good The Bad and The Ugly from there
1982....saved up my own grass mowing money to get the faces VHS set. Although I'm not very good at telling stories, I'm not Spielberg
Yeah I can't say the BD looks perfect, just better to me than the DVD or HDTV. But that's just personal preferences. I found that the faces were many times too red in the previous versions.
I prefer the more yellow / gold tint that the Blu has as opposed to the other versions. Regardless of what's correct, just looks good to my eyes.
I'll chime in to say I actually prefer the way Raiders looks on Blu Ray as opposed to previous DVD and HD broadcasts.
That is correct, I saw T2 8 times at theaters in 1991 and the teal shift was originally there
sorry, bluray.com joke
Yeah that version is only 140 used on Amazon lol.

Another version of Terminator 2 on Blu Ray? This will be the 3rd US release right?
Yes, and it's sorely needed - so far the best HD version of Terminator 2 is HDDVD - the first BD version is the same master as the HD DVD but suffers from some sort of artifacts that the HDDVD doesn't and the 2nd BD release (the one I was unfortunate enough to buy as it is the only one that came out in my country) has really horrible DVNR. And I mean like old school DVNR, motion smearing and everything - I downloaded a 12GB HDDVD rip of the movie and it beats the hell out of the BD I own :-/
Yeah I only have the first Blu release, held off on buying that "Skynet" version. So many of these releases are disappointing :(

Was not the Terminator before the new BD ever recolor timed? I mean to match the second film. Seems to be something they do these days as they did it with the Matrix and Lord of the Rings.
Its a Cameron thing, he loves the teal look check out aliens! Plus coming soon The abyss, true lies, and terminator 2
Another version of Terminator 2 on Blu Ray? This will be the 3rd US release right?
Wow lol, how does this stuff go unnoticed at the studios that prepare these blu ray masters?
I know I may be the minority, but just watching these if fun for me. I enjoyed the 720 anamorphic streams. I didn't have high expectations being that the source is Laserdisc, they looked great on my screen!
While the "remaster" is an improvement from the previous Blu, the corrections you guys have made really look spot on. That weird blue green tint I just can't unsee now lol
