Yeah thanks Chyron, I'll seed as long as my ISP data limit allows.
Extended Edition rar files all perfect and extracted with ease. Burned to BD25 with no issues. Playback is perfect. This makes the perfect supplement to the Team Blu theatrical edition. Picture quality and colors are spot on and the restored audio mix sounded great even on my crappy plasma speakers. Another stellar job from Team Blu but I would expect no less! Grab this one guys!
I'm using a temporary premium account and having success. I have around 8 parts left to download for Conan EE and just started this morning. Don't use the download manager. I'm using chrome browser and downloading 5 at a time.
WOW! Can't wait!! Nice one guys!!
Received my copy in the mail yesterday and couldn't wait to pop it in this morning. The first thing I noticed was some very nice disc art. Such a nice touch and something not easy or cheap to do! Just a testament to the amount of work that goes into these projects. Not to mention the beautiful slip cover and awesome cover art which is so much better than Twilight Time's.
The menu is nicely laid out and the option to switch between the Team Blu version and Vudu HDX Theatrical version on the fly is super sweet. The audio options are very complete, I settled on the Theatrical 2.0 Linear PCM. The colors are so much improved over Twilight Time's overly dark and blue version. You can really appreciate this when viewing Team Blu's bonus content that compares the 2 side by side in real time, a nice 10 minute flow showing just how bad Twilight Time's is and just how good and balanced Team Blu's is. There are a ton of fun bonus features ranging from interviews to booklet scans which really make this a definitive version of the film. The amount of work that went in to this project is evident from the moment you pop it in. Team Blu have really outdone themselves and continue to impress with their attention to detail. The film has truly never looked better. Many thanks to the team for all their hard work and dedication to bringing us these wonderful titles! I couldn't ask for a better and more complete package!
It'll all be worth the wait, Team Blu's work is top notch!

I was going to use ImgBurn to create an ISO to burn, but I noticed Empire (and RotJ) only have BDMV directory, no CERTIFICATE folder like in the SW ISO. Will there be issues playing them on blu-ray players without it?
Should I just create the folder, with subfolder BACKUP?
No, you don't need the certificate folder, just the BDMV will be fine and no playback issues to worry about.
How large is the file? Torrent?
Nice one Harmy! Enjoy your bday!
I'm not technical in video editing, I wish I could give a better explanation of what I'm talking about. It's little short jerks every few seconds like clockwork. It's not completely fluid movement.
I'll check again tonight when I get home. It was the jerky picture that kept throwing me off.
I tried it on my pc, USB drive in my Samsung TV, and burned to disc played through my ps3. Don't know if its something to do with it being a PAL broadcast source originally?
I checked this out last night, it seems to me that the picture is jarring. It looks to me as if it jumps or something, I don't know the technical term. But every few seconds it's like a jarring motion. The colors look great. Is it possible to use the Blu Ray as the source to correct the color timing?
My Blu Ray copy has "50th Anniversary Edition" sticker on the front.
Subscribed! Thank you!
Yeah, definitely one of my favorite Disney films as a kid and I had to pass on the Blu Ray. I'm not spending $25 on that DNR'd mess
I'm very very doubtful that we will see an OUT Blu Ray release, if the movies weren't on Blu Ray already I think we'd have a better shot. Personally I see Disney moving forward, concentrating more on the movies to come, spinoffs, possibly the live action tv program. As much as I'd love to see it happen, to me it's very wishful thinking. I surely hope I'm wrong though.

Thanks again guys for all positive feedback!
Anyway, I inspected the "glitch" djchaseb pointed out and it's on the original blu-ray as well. It's light-bleeding, something that can happen when they scan film prints. It's often seen in shot-switches in old movies.
Though the color matching might have made this scene brighter, which made it more visible.
EDIT:
I also checked the mid-scene color change in that scene. The light-bleeding happens mid-scene, the picture jumps and the color changes to warmer. I think it's something that happened when they scanned it, or it's cut 1 frame mid-scene or something. Either way, it's there in all versions of the movie.
EDIT 2:
Confirmed, it's a mid-scene cut in the film itself. It's missing 1 frame. Just like The Empire Strikes Back!
Wow, never noticed before lol. The official Blu Ray is so damn dark at that part it's hard to tell. Thanks for clearing it up You Too. I can make an MKV of this or keep the Blu Ray structure with menu and everything, but as far as seeding, cox communications has me capped with a damn data limit now. I'll be glad to burn a copy for someone who can seed it. PM me and mail me a big USB stick or blank dual layer BD. If that is okay with Team Blu. I know a ton of people are interested in this.
Received my copy of Conan and finally had some time to watch it this morning. First of all the packaging is amazing, the slip cover and red case along with the old school art are just perfect!
When I popped it in, I was pleased to see the movie has a nice logo next to the name in my ps3
It didn't take long for me to notice the improvement in color timing vs. the original release. It really is so much better and reminds me more of the DVD version that I loved. The audio options are awesome as well, so many options to choose from. I think I settled on the PCM 2.0. The bonus features are sweet as well, comparison gallery being my favorite.
Now on to the one thing I noticed that may be some sort of glitch....if you blink you may miss it. At around the 01:56:33 mark I noticed a slight flash at the top of the screen. It seems to happen when the color switches from a cooler to a warmer tone. It's hard to spot and you have to see it in motion to notice. I think it's just the color differences from one frame to the next. I checked my official release BD and didn't see it. It's right after Thulsa Doom says "the gleam in the eye of Set" (chapter 15). If anyone else with a copy can verify.
But a truly great project from Team Blu, the effort that went into this really shows!

No worries... wasn't trying be a d@#$ More or less a comment mixed into a question I guess.
Like I said, I can add another version.. I "almost" every version right up until '04. The trick will be getting that past the wife.. mind tricks won't work on her (kinda why I married her).
easier to ask forgiveness than permission.
Looks like I'll be upgrading to the 4K, shame they can't do the same for Ghostbusters 2...what gives?
Damn! Looking good fellas!
Nice! Gonna save some shelf space with that one!
