I feel like we’ve gotten to the point where we’re just changing things for the sake of changing things…
I feel like we’ve gotten to the point where we’re just changing things for the sake of changing things…
Really the only thing I would think to add-in from the Joss cut is the conversation with Flash and Batman before the first fight with Steppenwulf
I feel like the lava shot is out of place, since the three shots surrounding it all focus on the three ties journeying from space to forest. While the lava shot leaves out those ties.
As much as people would hate it… The Justice League extended edition with all scenes, Snyder and Whedon, put in. Continuity be crushed
Make Luke’s ghost in TROS green to “honor” the Irishness of Ach-To.
WAIT WAIT HEAR ME OUT!
We only see… what? four force ghosts throughout the whole Saga? Why not have each force ghost glow a different color?
Obi-Wan could be white
Yoda could be green
Anakin could be blue
Luke could be teal?
We could make the TIE on Pasana the same TIE from TLJ? (of course non of us are miracle workers)

Rumor going around that these films, along with other old Star Wars content will be available come April 2
The biggest hurdle to a Rey Nobody edit is the simple question of “what is Rey’s personal arc in this film?”
In ROTJ Luke is trying to save his father.
In TROS proper Rey is grappling with the true lineage within herself.
With the footage we have available to us what does Rey emotionally have to contend with? Why would she reach such a point of anger to strike down Kylo the way she did? What does is the reason she is so upset at Kylo during the Skype fight?
I like the idea of Rey killing her parents since that would be something she doesn’t want to accept. But I don’t feel like that is a good enough reason for her to reach the point of anger on the Death Star that she did. Honestly, with her character, that revelation of her evil with also being a Nobody would probably cause her to freeze instead of fueling her to fight.
I don’t really have answers to these questions but I think about them when perusing this thread.
I’ve been going through these episodes and really the only issue I have with them besides technical ones is the opening texts. I feel like they aren’t needed at all… They just take up time that honestly leaves me bored. I feel like taking the first few minutes of an episode and doing a cold open before the title card is better.
The amount of Mothers I know that quit their job or one of their jobs when they have a kid is astoundingly high.
Could I get a link too?
We could cut out the “two were made line”
Rey says that almost as if it was a question earlier on in the film that got cut. We as the audience have known since the jump that there were two wayfinders. That line has always felt out of place and cutting that dialogue could help sell the passage of time part we’re talking about with Achto.
Using Jarbear’s sequencing idea, we could cut Ach-to at “you have everything you need” then cut to Pow and Crew. Then Act-to part 2 could start with Rey pulling the wayfinder out of the ship with no dialogue, perhaps no music either, then a rush of water and the music starting to swell in as she runs in the morning to see Luke pull the x-wing out of the ocean.
This might not work either, but its something.
The constant change of the lighting on Act-to just doesn’t make sense… It starts out as dusk and slowly darkens, but then all of a sudden it is the dawn? What happened to the night? I think to change the lighting like that would only work if something was inserted to delineate the passage of time like a cut away to the Resistance base or a shot of Rey sleeping (?).
As much as I appreciate the work done on the “become a Dyad” line I just don’t like that idea narratively. For me, the fact that they are a Dyad from the start explains so much about their connection even before they met. I don’t want to beleaguer the point so I guess I’ll just leave it at that…
Interesting perspectives! This was a fun read.
As a marginal note, Sifo-Dyas in both timelines is dead around the timeframe of The Phantom Menace (the Clone Wars one is an illusion). The really muddled stuff is when Dooku fell to the dark side.
- In EU, Dooku is still on the Order during TPM, with Qui-Gon’s death a breaking point for him. Then he comes to serve Sidious, kills and supplants Sifo-Dyas and deletes the Kamino archives to hide his tracks.
- In DC, Dooku leaves the Order more or less eight years before TPM, and apparently by the time that movie takes place he is already corrupted by Sidious.
Gah I missed that! I’m gonna have to rethink that portion of the Timeline…
I had thought about weaving in the “when” of Dooku’s fall, but I had already done a whole section on Dookum I just didn’t want to do it again.
Yeah, it would require some restructuring, but it could possibly work. Just curious if people have thought about it already.
I’ve seen an edit that made it work kinda well, where she and Ben both survive and then they share an awkwardly composited hug. The problem is that so much of the movie’s last act requires Leia to be in a coma, and I don’t know how we could communicate her waking up.
Let’s put her in a coma for two whole movies!
Why would we get rid of the spice runner line? It’s hilarious!
@Chase, Is there another statue where you could add Reven’s Mask, or other well-known ancient sith?
Ideas:
Marka Rognose (Probably really difficult with the Horns)
Reven (Easy Mask shot)
Bane (Helmt could be difficult)
Could be placed in this wide shot of Kylo coming down to the surface before the Nihlus shot you’ve already started.
How long do we need this shot to be? Right now it’s only 1 second of footage, would we want to somehow increase it to 2 or 5 seconds? I remember the first time watching the film I didn’t even notice what the children were watching because it went by so quickly.
The fact that the Nihlus statue almost seems to be looking at Kylo as he turns is creepy and amazing!
I recently started playing KOTOR 2 again and I would love to find a way to put some classic Sith Armor somewhere in Exegol when Kylo Ren first is walking around, just in the background somewhere. It would be a nice little easter egg 😃
Downloaded the clips I needed 😃 Thank you so much!
Add a framing device to the prequels showing R2 recount the events to Luke. Cut to the framing device at odd times to have different characters walk into the room to ask where the Blue Milk is.

Would mxf and wav 5.1 be suitable for you?
Yes that should be fine 😃
The links to your Pugge Grande trilogy are dead, do you still have those covers? Along with the disc art?
