The cancellation of The Clone Wars as well as Lucas's sudden change of heart on a sequel trilogy make me wonder if Lucas decides that the prequels aren't canon after all.

In my observation, forums are full of double standards. Having a discussion that's not EU-inclusive on TFN seems to be a bannable offense, for example.

KJA was the writer, though, so it all makes sense; he's good at taking other peoples' ideas and sucking all the grandeur out of them.

Well if the facts were established by PT I have no problem in twisting them.
It happens with OT facts just as much as it happens with PT facts.
Plagueis surviving would make Plagueis a mary sue at Palpatine's expense. If Plagueis could become a ghost, why couldn't Palpatine?
I hate how the EU has the creation of the Rule of Two and the apparent extinction of the Sith occur at the same time. Yoda knowing about the Rule of Two makes it clear that the Rule of Two existed long before the apparent extinction of the Sith.
I hate how some EU fans twist facts to support the EU. If you show them proof that the EU screwed up, they'll claim that it was actually the movies or the interviewee who screwed up.
One thing we haven't seen in a long time is a Star Wars villain who is truly menacing.
Having Boba get killed and replaced in between AOTC and ESB screams "petty retconning" to me. Most of the audience won't care who's in the suit when and if they will care, they could easily come up with an explanation for somebody else wearing the suit in the OT that doesn't involve either Boba dying.
