The Empire convincing people to forget about The Force. 20 years won't make people forget!

As all of the post-Great Sith War wars dealing with the Sith are virtually indistinguishable from one another, they all could have been set during the New Sith Wars.
Exactly.
KOTOR II. The protagonist seems to be some sort of Chosen One and KOTOR II introduced the "true Sith" nonsense (have mercy on me, Imperialscum) and lots of nonsensical philosophy.
I also hate KOTOR's timeline placement. If you're don't want to connect to TOTJ, don't set the story near TOTJ. KOTOR could have been set during the New Sith Wars.

If this 4K thing catches on, the Blu Ray masters aren't going to cut the mustard.
Then again, they thought LD masters on DVD was an acceptable release in 2006...
Lucas may have thought that, but that's a very low standard.

Just look how they re-shaped Episode 7 from Lucas/Arndt's first draft, as they are making Han, Luke and Leia more prominent in the movie.
That seems like a change for the worse.
How?
If Disney doesn't release the OOT, they deserve to be hated just as much as Lucas.

It would be interesting if they started with the old Marvel series numbering, but that might create the false expectation we'll see old characters unique to the original run.
I'd love it if they brought Jaxxon and some others back. He needs his own book though. ;)
Qui-Gon was wrong. Jaxxon is the Chosen One.
I definitely prefer KJA over Troy Denning. At least KJA didn't make the post-Endor Jedi even stupider than the prequel Jedi.
I also wonder if Marvel will publish Star Wars #108.
If Disney doesn't release the OOT, how are they any better than Lucas?
I wonder if Luke will create a new Jedi order or if Jedi will go off on their own upon being knighted.
How all of its best characters are dead.
I noticed that the pre-KJA portion of TOTJ seems to be about adventure, like ANH.
That it influenced the prequels for the worse. I suspect that the EU made Lucas think that he could get away with making bad prequels.
I hate how the EU has overshadowed the movies in some circles. The EU's fans seem to think that Thrawn and KOTOR are better than the OOT.
Confusing names with titles. Darth Sidious, Maul, and Tyranus is like Yoda being called "Ben Yoda", Qui-Gon being "Ben Jinn", etc.
Palpatine being behind everything (the concept, not the execution).
Awesome creature design
There's no way that anybody besides the hardcore fans expect to see a bounty hunter in a movie with "Star Wars" in its title. The average person would feel ripped off if they go to see a "Star Wars" movie and it's about Boba Fett.
imperialscum said: The way I see it is that after Great Hyperspace War most of the Sith and Sith-Human hybrid were targeted and killed by the Republic. To fill the void, they just integrated a huge amount of humans from various colonies. So that way the Sith genes were in minority from the beginning. However in one SWTOR missions it is stated that 98% of all imperial population have Sith genetic material. This kind of complicates the upper explanation.
I actually love this idea. I'd say that the surviving Sith and hybrids were so desparate that they breeded with people from their colonies.
The Darth Plagueis novel is the best Star Wars product since 1980.
That Palpatine rejected a chance to live on Korriban as a spirit. He had so much potential as a spirit.
As for what can be avoided, anything that TFN wants.
As for what went wrong, bizarre revisionism. Palpatine's appearance is NOT the result of getting hit by lightning.
Cloak of Deception. It makes sense of the politics of TPM.

Um...I don't think a blank screen counts as a scene.*
THIS is possibly the worst scene in all 6 movies:
![]()
IMO, the worst thing about this scene is that an inconsequential asshat is the only character in any of the movies to get a lightsaber that is coloured something other than blue, red, or green. If only one character is allowed a unique lightsaber colour, it should be a main character who matters.
I think that if one Jedi gets a unique saber color, it should be Yoda. If Yoda has to have a saber, it should be as unique as possible.
This isn't a criticism of the fact that the SWTOR Sith are human, but rather of how the SWTOR Sith being human was explained. The explanation that we're given is that the red alien genes were bred out. However, in TOTJ, and even the timeline of SWTOR's own website, it's the human genes that have been bred out. Therefore, SWTOR should have mentioned a massive human population joining the red alien population.
I also want to say that the Sith being red aliens is a KJAism. KJA also made the Mandalorians a species! TOTJ itself suggests that Veitch intended the original Sith tribe to be a group of humans, not a species.
