I love how TOTJesque the final episode of TCW ("Sacrifice") is. Sith illusions and spells, Sidious speaking the Sith language that Exar Kun spoke, etc.
Am I the only one who hates how everyone who turns to the dark side joins the Sith? It makes absolutely no sense to me. You don't switch sides upon becoming a bad person.

I have to say that Metroid intrigues me with its mysterious characters. One wonders about the origin of Ridley, Kraid, the Space Pirates, and Mother Brain.
That TCW made the Fetts non-Mandos and gave characters new fates. The EU deserves it.
We've discussed who the head villain will be, but there's also the issue of who/what the army will be. In the prequels we have Trade Federation/Separatist battle droids and (after Order 66) the Republic clone army and in the OOT we have Stormtroopers. What will we have in the ST?

I was counting the Ewok movies as EU.
Hate is probably a strong word for this, but I dislike that the planet Endor exists as of ROTJ in the EU. The novelization's statement that the planet Endor had been destroyed at some point long before ROTJ is far cooler in my opinion.
I hate how the fans are convinced that the Thrawn trilogy's take on what became of the Empire after ROTJ is the only logical one and the double standards that these fans will use to support their position. There's so many other possibilities as to what a Palpatine-free Empire would be like.

Which is exactly why it would be total BS to just throw out the EU now. The big three are still alive in the books. Why else would Lucas be saving them if not to give at least one of them a dramatic death in the ST?
