its not over yet. and i doubt anyone will be happy. ;-)
OH I thought this past Sunday was the last episode.
I am starting to watch True Blood season 1 again to get ready for season 2 Blu-ray release on Tuesday, then after season 2 I am right back to Lost, I can't wait.
JUST LOVE KATE!

Downloaded, patched, burned, tested. Looks/sounds great! Ready for the party!
Where did you find the fixed audio?
Does anyone have any idea what could have happened to make ac3 encoders not work on my system anymore, I have been using soft encode for friggin years and then all of a sudden it just stops running, I did the reinstall thing already, no help, even tried wav to ac3 and that won't work either, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Well ABC this is really, really well done, hats off to you buddy, and I see you are an expert at EAC now, LOVE that you included the .cue sheet, sure takes ALL guess work out of burning, there is NO way for a screw up.
Going to start making me some new ring tones for my Son's and my cell phones, gotta have the Imperial March on my phone LOL.
Thanks again, I really appreciate the links.
ps. cutting my little guys hair and we are jamming disc 1 right now.
The problem is on my end, somehow I can't do anything with ac3 files now, nothing works and I'll be damned what happened, I am really getting sick of this Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.
Damn I want to read through this thread badly but I am only just starting season 4, so were you guys happy with the ending or no?
Did anyone here get hairy_hens FLAC file decoded to wav to make a ac3 file? no matter what I do I can't get this file to work so I can't test it against the 2.0 file, I used FLAC frontend to decode but softencode will NOT encode this at all, keeps shutting down on me, I also tried wav to ac3 and it won't even start, so any pointers are very much welcomed at this point, but at least I tested the 5.1 file made from this and it is AWESOME!
Thanks for the heads up Ady, I will wait then before jumping on this one.
I would say the standard 448 would be enough, we will get out HD audio in October 2011 when the Blu-ray set comes out.
apologize for what? it is already behind me, I am older now and I can forgive and forget, NO grudges.
Thanks for these again and looking forward to ROTJ to finish up the Trilogy.

Is the volume coming out the same as the stereo version when you play it in 5.1, dark_jedi?
Not sure yet but I sent you a PM, once I get that part figured out I will test it out for you ASAP.
I have just listened to the 5.1 upmix and it sounds fantastic, really really nice work satanika!

By the way, CCE isn't a good encoder at all. You should knock that too.
Then what is in your opinion?

See this guide, Step 5.
Thanks M
This post is to everyone else that is following this thread and hoping I make available another option to just his upload only, I have been accused by "g" as being a cheat, I use HIS work and claim it as my own and do NOT even give credit, well if you have followed this thread and my own as well as read the NFO included in ALL other uploads you will see that this is clearly BS! if you have followed this from the start you would have read HIM and others recieved a ton of credit and I also state that these releases would NOT have been made without it.
The versions I did were and are alternates to his, he used a freeware encoder, and yes I knocked it and still do, mine were multi-pass encoded with CCE SP2 with average bitrate of 6500 and I had some different audio options(Thanks to hairy_hen and satanika, and others), where he used ONLY the GOUT audio, in my thread I was asking you guys to give me your input on the audio this time around, and was hoping to get ANH and ESB out in a few days(encoding is finished on both) but was hoping ROTJ was not far from finished, well I offered help and as you have already read, I now know exactly where we stand, which for me is great because now I know!
In closing, I guess I should NOT release them because I don't want him to think I am stealing HIS work again and not giving credit, so hopefully his versions will appear for you guys soon, we will see.
OH and one more thing this is the NFO included with everything uploaded, please read and then tell me I do not give credit.

(hey, I don't even have time to do ROTJ and it would be about the same amount of work)

Well if you need help testing, rendering, encoding, I have time to help you just like we did in the past, because all I have left to do on the other 2 is encode then put it all together, the lossless avi's are done on both now.
What? You mean like on the project where you flaked out and erased all the files off your hard drive because you found out that I had offered some advise to someone else who was doing a similar project? Or are you talking about your previous encode where you took my code and changed a couple of things and called it your own with no acknowledgments? Or maybe you're referring to the time I gave you a script for color correction and told you just to evaluate it to see if it had promise and specifically asked you not to post anything because it was too preliminary, and then within a couple hours you had screenshots posted. Or like on my last encode where you were suspicious that the script was any better and slammed me for the encoder I was using?
Yeah, I'll be just like old times! Where do I sign up?
-G
Yes whatever dude, I never claim ANYONE'S work as my own, EVER!, so you stay perched on your high and mighty horse, sorry for saying anything, maybe someday you will finish and share with everyone your hard works your self then, and NO ONE is perfect, well except you ofcourse.
NO need to even read this shit anymore.
Asta La Vista Big Guy, Internet sure makes some people really big, bad, and tough LOL
ANH=61 GB, ESB=61.9 GB.

Thanks Dr M for this, and hell yea screen shots would be great, if it is not to much trouble.
Thanks again
Thanks a ton man, did not want to post a Thanks there yet in case you want to add more, maybe you should reserve a few more spots just in case.
You are right, I did not see that, well if I can't get the links from you then I guess I am also one of the people you chose NOT to share with, but if by some strange miracle you do share, then I will respect your wishes and not torrent or upload to the newsgroups, that is the least I can do.
I guess only time will tell.
hairy_hen wrote this in another thread, but I wanted it here as well.
"It would be kinda neat if this version included the 35mm stereo, mono, and 70mm 5.1 soundtracks all together, so the complete theatrical auditory experience would be available on one disc. ;)
For Empire and Jedi, 70mm recreations aren't strictly possible, but the '93 and 5.1 soundtracks on the previous versions already sound great. I've been considering doing small revisions on Empire, to substitute the hacked up music cues with how they are in the SE and add the missing snowspeeder sound, but those are only minor changes. Jedi I believe I am quite satisfied with as it is."
Just wanted to let anyone know who's interested that I am doing a version 3 of all 3 films, and want to know what audio files people would be interested in having included.
I am ditching the subs because I have no idea why they turned red on me, or how to change them back to what they are supposed to be, so ditching subs altogether.
