Here's a quick guide to create a DVD with this audio track:
1. Copy the files from the Region 1 GOUT disc onto your hard drive using DVD Decrypter.
2. Using PgcDemux, demux the MPEG-2 video and alien subtitles, and extract celltimes.txt. (Do not use IfoEdit to demux the subs or Muxman will throw up an error later on).
3. Open the mono mix WAV with an audio editor (e.g. Sound Forge, Audacity) and insert 1.017s of silence at the start of the file; save.
4. Use Muxman (standard version) to multiplex the M2V video, delay-corrected WAV audio and subtitles, using the celltimes.txt file to set chapter points.
5. Use IfoEdit to copy the subtitle colour palette from the official disc, VTS_03_0.IFO, PGC1, and paste into VTS_01_0.IFO of your newly authored DVD (if you don't do this, Greedo's subs will appear in red text!)
(6. At this point I used PgcEdit to insert a pre-command to turn the subtitles on by default; not sure if this step is necessary or not.)
7. Use ImgBurn in build mode to build the disc image and burn to a dual-layer disc.

Otherwise, I was curious, is there an easy way to strip out the "Lego Star Wars" stuff and how much space would that free up on the DVD?

Padawan Learner1) What boxes should be checked in PgcDemux? Which IFO file do I use? (just VIDEO_TS?) And what files should I expect from the output? (I think I'm missing the subtitles, see next question)
2) What is the file extension I should be looking for for the subs portion of the Muxman step?
More questions to come I'm sure but that's as far as I got. I noticed I didn't have a file to enter for the subs so I stopped there. Thanks in advance.

VideoFile.m2v (about 5.86 GB)
Subpictures_21.sup (41 KB, you don't need the other subpictures)
Celltimes.txt (1 KB)

Padawan LearnerThanks for the added info Moth3r but I still have one more thing to check with you. I got through steps 4 just fine (thanks to your help), 3 was the easiest part for me cause audio editing is more my thing then video which is pretty new to me. I'm still a little stuck on step 5. I've opened IfoEdit and opened the two different ifo files from the original and the new one. I'm assuming to fix the sub color I just need to use the command at the top "subtitle color" to copy and paste the old color into the new ifo.

UntitledAlthough a long time ago i converted my GOUT to anamorphic, but I kept everything else, I just reencoded the video (it kept the same menus, audio, subtitles, everything). I figured it wouldn't make a difference because all the audio that was on the original GOUT is on my anamorphic copy as well ... am I wrong?

... no longer reads the ESB:R threadThe maximum allowable bitrate for video+audio+subs on a DVD is 10.08Mbps. From what I gather about Muxman, it can deal with the occasional spike above this value, but any sustained excess will cause the muxing operation to fail. (Which is a good thing, because playback of such a disc would be problematic on some DVD players).
So yes, in your case you will need to compress the audio to AC3 or MP2, or encode the video again using a lower maximum bitrate.

Nevermind, I got it - it's burning now.
And for the record I used the nonanamorphic GOUT - I'm going to try to reencode this version later on for anamorphic.

Oddly enough, the forced subtitle tag only worked on 1 of the 3 players I tested it on. Slightly inconvenient.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong on step 4, but this isn't coming out very well. I'm deviating from the guide a tiny bit, and keeping both English audio tracks and subtitles, but I don't see how that would be screwing this up...anyway, I can't get PowerDVD to run it properly.
I've got VIDEO_TS.BUP and .IFO, and I've got VTS_01_0.BUP and .IFO, and VTS_01_1 through 5.VOBs.
VIDEO_TS and VTS_01_0 will just play the first chapter and then quit, or quit if I click "next", even though it's reporting 51 chapters.
Maybe I'll just start over and see if it does it again.
Edit: Okay, that fixed it somehow. Only thing I did different is I imported the chapters before I set up everything else, instead of afterwards. Heads up for anyone else, I guess?

I have the PAL DVD but the NTSC mono mix (couldn't find the PAL mono mix). How can I convert the NTSC mix to PAL?
And is the tutorial the same otherwise? Are the 1.017s the same for PAL?
