it takes me 12-14 hours to render lossless avi files and about 2 hours to encode.
and I was about to PM Satanika about the very same issue, the file seems a little low in volume.

The original TCM was banned? why? it was not even that gory and all, the new version(and in my opinion way better) was a lot more gory and scary.
Thanks again for the info, since I already have the US DC BD version, I will just pick up the UK Theatrical then, like you said, it is cheaper.
I know there are not any King Kong 1976 fans here, but I must say that the Australian Blu-ray of KK 76 looks and sounds friggin great, and was not expensive at all.

These do look pretty good, to bad ROTJ is still not ready, I have ANH done and ESB will be done tonight, although I did change the size, the position, the color, and the font used on this script, there will be an optional version for you guys on the groups, I plan on doing these up for a 3rd time with optional audio's again and doing a multi-pass CCE SP2 encode, more details will follow in my own thread, but would like input on what audio options everyone would like to see on all 3, even though ROTJ is not done.

The UK BD instead is Region Coded B and contains only the Theatrical Version.
The austrian region B 'limited uncut edition' (limited to 3000 copies) contains BOTH versions on one disc.
you wouldn't happen to have links to these so I can possibly purchase would you? would love to get the version with both but the Theatrical only will work to.

The reason I said that is because you said this, "Too bad I can't just force Vegas to accept XVID" and Molly responded about the xvid codec, so it seemed like you still wanted to pursue this avenue when clearly it is NOT the right way.

I think you are missing the point, DON'T use xvid, use a lossless codec like Lagarith or Huffyuv.
