Superman 4 Recut Rough Cut (Released)
Time

I watched the "first Nuclear Man fight" scene on Youtube about a month ago, and Christ, was it terrible. Bizarre goofy music playing in the background as Superman fights a man who acts like a retarded pre-schooler, not to mention product placement galore.

Well, I personally think it's the greatest unintentional comedy ever made.

Yes, it's really bad. And Manos is horrible. Just horrible. But the MST3K episode is so quotable.

"You are the driver. What would you do....if this happened to you."
"SEEN IT!! I wish those hands would just push him over!"
"Oh yes, it's very scenic, just like a scene from....MANOS, THE HANDS OF FATE!!! (crying)"
"Oh my, it is...the man. I hope we don't get carted to the big house."
"Look, it's Mary Kay...K...K."
"Your puppy's compost, kid!"
"This limited-edition, suitable for framing, print is available in the lobby, along with the soundtrack to...Manos: The Hands Of Fate."

<em><strong>Official Release Thread - Alien Appendix</strong></em> - Updated with #2 info (Released)
Time
I know I already posted this in the other thread, but if you're looking for a text supplement for Alien 3, these two articles might be interesting reading. It's fascinating stuff.

The articles are:

"Mother From Another Planet" (from "The Insider's Guide To DVD")

This article was taken from the Insider's Guide To DVD book that was released in 2003. (Again, if someone is already posting this on one of the discs, and it's redundant, I'll remove this link), and examines the difficulty in shooting Alien 3. It was posted verbatim, save for one section regarding differences between all the script, but otherwise, the article's complete. It has interviews with David Fincher and Ezra Swerdlow.

Interviews with Richard Edlund (SFX Supervisor) on making of film, George Gibbs on the EEV Crash and Superfacehugger, Alec Gillis on the autopsy scene, and Fincher on what he wanted from the film

This piece is four different articles related to the production and editing of the film. I don't know if these are part of the Cinefex magazine articles, though.

At least it's something.

Idea: Super Mario Bros. The Movie - Special Features?
Time
I have a .cbr file of an issue of Nintendo Power from 1993 (I'm not sure of the exact issue, so it may take a little while), but there's a three or four page article on the making of the film, as well as a few shots from the set, including Samantha Mathis looking on while John Leguizamo plays Super Mario World. If you want it, I can put it up on Rapidshare for you.

Video Games - a general discussion thread
Time
The only Zelda games I have played (straight through and completed) were Zelda I, A Link To The Past and Wind Waker. Wind Waker got a little boring near the end when you have to search out the Triforce maps, but if you play through the preceding parts without getting a whole lot of weapon upgrades like the arrows, you can do them as side-quests along the way.
