I found a couple little items you could use. There is the footage of Robocop at a WCW pay-per-view event (Christ, that was terrible) that might be useful. I also found a Japanese commercial advertising a Thursday night showing of Robocop 3 (you can find it here). In addition, I also found a website that shows (apparent) photographs of one of the unfinished police car designs from the first film (you can find that here). I'm not sure how valid this is, as the guy mentions working with many of the cast and crew on these designs, and I'm not sure if they were already put on one of the DVD releases, but maybe you could use them as a photo gallery or something. When I can, I'll try to download some of the Robocop-related stuff from Youtube and try to convert it. I'm just very tired today, having finished an exam and all.

I thought the Alien Appendix disc was awesome. Over here in Canada, the full documentary was only aired in it's full version a couple time on the local sci-fi network, so having this is absolutely great. I also liked your idea about an alternate cut of the first three films. It would be really interesting to see the subtle changes between each the different cuts of the three films.

If Lucasfilm is going to release the OOP with these DVD covers, they had better put something on the front cover that alerts people to the fact that these sets contain the unaltered editions, because the average consumer will probably assume that this is just a re-release of the 2004 versions.

Also, that AMC documentary sounds great for the first film concerning the project layout.

Well, I'll tell you, I downloaded it from the Robocop Archive, and I can't seem to convert this to and .avi or .mpg format. It keeps screwing up the picture. As it stands, the quality isn't bad (I'd say 5 or 6 out of 10), but it doesn't even play in VLC, for God's sake! I'll see what I can do.

The rarest DVD that I own is the "Terminator 2 Ultimate Edition" (1-disc, complete with metal outer case). I was able to score it for $5.00 Canadian (and still sealed) at a Loblaws grocery store. It's got all the extras from the laserdisc box set on it. It's awesome. I also have the original 2-disc version of "A Beautiful Mind", and the 2-disc "Saving Private Ryan: 60th Anniversary Commemorative Edition", both of which went OOP quite a while ago.

Hello! I finally got on here. I'm a member of Myspleen.org, and I saw your project on extras for the Robocop films. If you want, I have some materials you could use. I have some files that I downloaded at RobocopArchive.com, but they are in terrible quality. I've got the "AMC: Backstory" feature on the film, the deleted scene with the final MediaBreak (I think it was already released on the official DVD already, though), and the featurette called "The Making Of Robocop". I've also got the Deluxe Edition soundtrack, but I know if you need that. I will let you know more in a day or two. Also, if this is in the wrong section, I apologize in advance, but I love this place. Keep up the good work! I'll scrounge around and see if I can find anything else pertaining to the making of the film.
