That's what I was afraid of. I'm guessing we don't have any 35mm prints lying around here either yet.
Currently the sources that exist for AOTC are as follows:
-Centropy VCD theatrical bootleg
-Official DVD
-schorman’s HDTV preservation
-Official Blu-ray
-Theatrical DTS CD-ROM
Gentlemen (and gentle ladies), is it possible to recreate the theatrical version based on what we have available to us? Even if it’s only DVD9 caliber, too.

I have a full-on theatrical version of ROTS that I did based on my HDTV reconstruction and the Blu Ray which I can post as well.
Dang, that's exciting news! I hate the DVNR Blu-ray version of ROTS so much, but it's the closest to theatrical that we have. I can't wait to compare the two. And you might want to alert RU.08 about TPM.
Without a valid theatrical source for AOTC, it's a shame that the DTS CD will go to waste for the time being. On the other hand, will the one for ROTS sync with the DVD or Blu-ray?
So would the one on the spleen be pretty much the best possible way to watch it as it stands?
I've said it before and I'll say it again. ROTJ is my favorite of the three.
There are a few torrents floating around with the original episodes. Somebody uploaded one to the spleen and the picture is all there but the audio is a bit muffled.
I know I touched on this earlier but I'm still on the fence as far as the extended frame from the Blu-ray goes.

What would it take to create a comprehensive, high quality collection of Jackass material? I’m talking the original 25 episodes, the movies, the .5 movies, Jackass Presents ________, etc.
Would it be alright if you added info on the front post regarding the status of each LD? i.e. 1425-84 is COMPLETE or something like that.
Is there a way to tell MeGUI to only encode between certain frames?
e.g. encode between frame 1000 and 2000

I'm more hyped for ROTJ 2.0 more than anything on this site right now. It's long overdue for a rehaul with all the new sources that have become available since he made 1.0.
I was quite bored last night so I made this handy chart. I did a lot of research as to the whereabouts of every episode in question. It's pretty rough since almost all the information came from TTTE Wikia, which can be sparse at times when discussing DVD release (although what wiki isn't). I wanted to list the best possible version of each episode in most cases it kind of devolved into first known releases instead. Anyway, here's a nice little springboard for those trying to visualize this like me.

If you're still interested in creating an isolated score, check out the Esper Retirement Edition. It has a complete score rip, although I haven't checked all the tracks for quality/cleanliness. From what I listened to it's pretty high quality and it's also in .ape format.

I can hardly wait to see somebody pick up the rest of the prequels as soon as we get theatrical presentations of AOTC. Perhaps somebody could tackle ROTS since there are no major alterations to the framecount? In any case, the hype train continues to roll.
