Try running it through DVDShrink. Mine did that, I think, because I had gotten to 99.7% and then Piratebay went down. I then restarted the torrent from Dememoid, but then copied the existing download from Piratebay. It didn't look like it was recognizing it, so I figured I'd have to just start all over, but then it finished as though it DID recognize the earlier download. Anywho, I was getting the same error burning it, so I ran it through DVDShrink and somehow it had ended up being just slightly oversized. DVDShrink fixed it with only a 98% or 99% compression, but it made it kosher to burn.
By the way, I've since switched over from Bitlord to Azureus, which would have allowed me to just do a check and then reloaded from where it left off.

The DVDs are lying. Beauty and the Beast and Lion King "original versions" are just the IMAX version with the extra song cut out. There were alterations in the animation done for the bigger format.
Unfortunately, I don't have a page for Beauty's differences, but here's Lion King differences

Anyway, can someone send me how to get to the easter egg, too? It's driving me nuts trying to find it through the menus. I should be working on my version of the NTSC BE this weekend.

Plasma and LCD have fixed pixels, that means 720x480 fixed pixels in NTSC countries

I believe they are 852 x 480 for SD. The HD ones are 1280 x 768.

Yes, of course I read. Nothing has said how to actually do it, though. It's a completely different torrent and tracker so starting it downloads it completely from scratch. I copied the existing files from the piratebay download and it has still started the download over from scratch. The files that were allllllllmost completed were the VOB files, so even if they were 4 MB from finishing, now I'm looking at 3GB again. I was asking if there's a trick to get it to recognize an unfinished torrent from Piratebay to Demonoid/Mininova.

Says Piratebay should be back up in a day or two. I'm one of the 99.9-ers. Ugh.

Well, the idea I proposed was to take the DVD and keep it in its proper restored form, but simply re-edit the Moroder score to fit it. That way you get the proper version of the visual, but also with this music.

The Kino print is amazing and makes it look like it was shot yesterday. It is the same frame rate as the Moroder version, that is 24fps. There was a bit of controversy, but no one has ever been able to prove that Metropolis was ever intended to be shown in anything other than "sound" speed. All indications are that despite being filmed 16-18 fps, it was supposed to be projected at ~24fps. It might look unnatural to modern viewers, but silent films were supposed to be sped up. Film studios supplied cue sheets for local music and they all indicate projection speed closer to modern sound speed and none of them indicate 16-18 fps.
