I really never had a problem with Hux being made a farce of, or “they fly now” (yes it’s corny, but that’s Star Wars, right?)

You know, with all this Lando talk… Is there anyway to incorporate that “Come on Chewy… One last time.” scene that I think was definitely in the BTS material and might have been in a TV Spot?
But in the context of the original film it does make me wonder why they wrote Lando’s lines that way. Unsure.
If memory serves correctly, I think the Star Tours upgrade came out right before the film came out. So, they were probably wanting to keep the “reveal” (as non-eventful as it is) about the Final Order a secret up until the release. Damn mystery box.
Anyways, in regards to the line, I don’t think it’s too essential to change Lando’s line. Part of it is apathy, part of it is what Jadenkorr said.
Also, Cinefy, I really like that concept! I hope everything works out with it. The more Ben Solo we could squeeze into this film the better in my opinion.
I wonder if there’s some additional Lando dialogue that could beef it up. As is he says like two things. Depending on how one would integrate it that might be fine, or it might feel really short.
Fortunately for us, there’s a whole plethora of lines we could crib from stuff like the video games (even the pre-Disney ones) and TV shows and the like since BDW has always voiced the character outside of the movies.

Hmm… I’m pretty torn on this. On one hand, you did some great work on this and it would be a cool thing to let the audience know just how Kylo knew Rey and Co. were going to Endor.
On the other hand though, I’m not a huge fan of Kylo having some Cerebro-esque powers where he can search through the Force for different people. IMO, it skirts a little too close to the ridiculous shit they had in the EU (like Jedi pulling down Star Destroyers from the sky and stuff like that). Also, I don’t think the line from Kylo after he listens to Leia is necessary. Just have him be silent while he’s Force Googling and then have the ANH callback when he finally finds Rey and Finn.
As someone who’s been pretty against the whole “multiple voices” thing for Palpatine, you’ve certainly made me a believer with this newest clip!
As for the Lando line, you did good audio work on it. However, I think it sounds a little too “real world” if that makes sense. I think if you made it sound more like a hologram using the sound effects Rogue Leader, it would sound more like it belongs in universe.

Obviously the lights of the castle will be darkened.
As far as the shot length, I’ve sped it up 1000% (10X speed) and that’s still not enough to simply replace the castle from the original 3 shot establishing sequence. I don’t want to speed it up more since the smoke and fog looks odd (and I’ll have to re-track a slower version of the lavafall regardless), so I’m thinking that it might be possible to use this one shot to replace all three.

Personally speaking, I do like the idea of having the Sith Whispers being in this final confrontation as being a last temptation sort of thing (even though it doesn’t really make sense in a 1:1 interpretation since Palp’s is trying to kill her at this point but whatever).
However, I’m really not a fan of the echo voice for Palpatine. It just seems really hokey to me (although you have done excellent work with it, Axlanian!)
EDIT: Here’s a really rough mockup of what I was thinking for this scene using Axlanian’s whispers, Hal’s whispers and SWTOR whispers for the final scene that I posted in here. It kind of got glossed over though. lol

This new puppet show is just making ST even more of an OT remake/knockoff lol. I think JJ would be proud we’re advancing his vision for the story.

Currently been cleaning up the Lando audio from the Star Tours ride however; theres a kid speaking over part of the message, unfortunately all the youtube recordings of the ride have crowd cheers with the exception of the one I have found.
So, I have a pretty janky solution for this: put some crackle or interference over when the kid speaks like Lando’s transmission is going out slightly.

Could be interesting if Kylo some how found Exegol again by following the fleet call out, the audio of Lando rallying allies to Exegol on Star Tours is very interesting.
YOU KNOW… if we’re able to start making some “landing/leaving” ship scenes, we could definitely show Ren’s ship (whatever it is at that point) leaving Endor and having the Lando Star Tours audio play over it as comms chatter.
