well for the Snow-Troops, there are cut scenes, where they enter through side-tunnels or the ones the Wampas broke into the base (hence making the scene with C3PO afterwards, where he rips the warning-sign), if I am correct.
But the main conception is, they enter mostly through the seen doors (not saying other openings could exist).
As fot that, we never see Vader land with his "dropship", but it isn't needed because it would slow down the pace of the battle/evacuation :-)
I really liked how Palpatine threw half of the senate at Yoda ;-)
so more of that with a lot of taunting, which would make rising the X-Wing out of the water kind of a easy thing - for a young Jedi, but we would see how old Yoda really now was (after all this fighting he had lost much strength)
on that account it would be cool to only have Palpatine use force lightning - Dooku using it diminishes the effect ...
I think Jedi Knights and Sith Warriors should use lightsabers - the "grand masters" only use the Force ;-)
so a duel between Yoda and Palpatine could be more of a "mind game" (or force storm)
Lucas ruined the lightsaber colors ...
in an ideal edit, Windu would have a green blade or blue - or others like his status would have purple ;-)
hey, even an ambitious take would be better, to show he had some training, that not all Jedi see as "safe" or good.

if other craftsmen (or women) of the trade would have been heavily involved, the PT could have been a trilogy, everyone would even like to watch in 30 years ...
well, yes we DO need another Jedi to mask the fact that "Anakin" is Lukes father ...
but there is one other thing, that Obi-Wan or Leia mentions, that never got made or is seen onscreen: how he helped Bail Organa and fought with him side by side (in the "Clone Wars") - THAT should have been in "Episode 3" and more interaction with his pupil(s)
the first thing could be achieved by inserting another actor, the later would ask to remove Jimmy Smits and cast a new Bail Organa (not sure if there is enough material to support interaction with Obi-Wan)
it was very silly of the Jedi to use an army of cloned bounty hunters(!), not asking more questions and just going with Palpatines plan to rule the galaxy ...
yeah, one would NOT risk to use a weapon, that an enemy has built, you couldn't be 100% sure, if it isn't a "trojan horse" ;-)
too bad it was never explained (onscreen!) why the Jedi or Sith do not clone themselves and wage war over the galaxy - to make a copy of an able warrior is one thing, but to copy a being with force powers would be more effective ?!
hm, what if the Senate has this "Clone project" from the last Mandalorian conflict (when the situation was similar) and they use one of their "old foes" as a template? maybe make one a rogue (Fett?) or another of them a tool for Palpatine to assassinate his political enemies, hiding this fact behind the "Federation" movement ...

yeah, I agree Bingo, if Anakin was torn apart before he really turns, that would give the audience more insight how the dark side works and his redemption could be reasoned, even if he killed children (as you suggested in a vision/dream)
the dark spectre/ sith assassin should appear very early to shadow Anakins moves, so one thinks he will be his next victim, making Obi-Wans tale sort of true ...
Fett fan-service did start with the special edition of ANH, when Lucas cramed in the scene with Jabba, that is redundant ...
and yes, the Madalorians should have been some kind of threat in the prequels, at least a shadow that was defeated in a war before
as for "Revenge", Luke had many foes to battle, Fett wasn't "big" enough, think Jabba, Vader and the Emperor ;-)
Force ghosts: I had a thought about how and why Anakin could be seen - maybe it was not him to learn, maybe Yoda or Obi-Wan felt in the Force, that he had really turned from dark to light and collected his spirit, to say a last goodbye to Luke before they together become one with the Force - so the "old" Anakin makes more sense, then a juvinated one ...

Agreed, I think he should NOT be Jabba's bodyguard, he is a solitary man, like "the man with no name", he doesn't need to hang around at a palace and flirt with girls - he did his job and that is that.

Not sure if anyone tried this, but I had the idea when watching the movie "The Escapist" ...
ok, what if Episode 1 starts with a prologue like Lord of the Rings, giving us the needed background about Jedi vs Sith (could be a force ghost talking or a recording ala Dune => Holocron) and the rest that leads to the first scene of the story.
Then we have the main plot with Obi-Wan as the protagonist, this whole PT will be shown through the eyes of the Jedi Knight - his point of view(!), making his statements "true" ...
PT will be mainly "The Clone Wars" - ending with birth of "The Empire" - 15/20 year break (during the gap rebellion starts) - leading up to ANH.
ANH and ESB run as we know it, only minor corrections needed (see Adywan's improvements) ...
THEN there comes ROTJ - it opens with a recap / "flashback" of what REALLY happened in the years before aka "The Clone Wars", now with knowledge of Vader being Anakin Skywalker and Luke's father ...
After this we continue with the normal "timeline" (Luke saves Han in "Rambo style" - for lack of better description - no stupid plans that go wrong!) - audience is not sure if he is Jedi or Sith (after Vader's revelation ...) - Rebels assemble at Sullust to strike their last desperate attack: Corruscant! (maybe they got hands on a "special weapon" - needs more thought, but 140% better than DSv2)
Leia's not Luke's sister - she and Han still hook up - Luke leaves into sunset after he defeated the Emperor (with the help of his father), maybe to find the "other" Skywalker.
yeah, NO Ewoks - oh boy, they were so silly ;-)
this solves many problems and gives opportunity to add more movies, if not ST contradicts events from PT ...
Hm, interesting take - changing Ani to Luke - but should Maul still be the Sith Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan duel or change that too ?
if changed to Vader (if he is still Ani) problem is, that he knows of Luke - if NOT Anakin, then where is Ani (or do we have another "Vader"?)
Lucas got himself and us into a mess and without fresh material this gordon knot isn't easy to undo ...
I would like to have the PT be more a story of the Clone Wars (alike our WW1), with pre-imperial technology and seeing the Jedi as the heroes which Obi-Wan promised us - making Anakin something like "Baron von Richthofen", real knights of the sky ;-)
ehm, nope, the deal is Fox has the rights to somewhat 2020 or something ...
meaning Disney got time to brew some "Ultimate Fan Edition" for the next Anniversary :-D
I think Disney will release the BIG one when Fox gives them back the rights to ANH - and the same goes for possible 3D versions of the OT, they can wait and will, because why cramp stuff into one year, when you can make money in years to come - till Episode VII there is Rebels to fill some time and other goodies will surely follow ;-)
maybe Adywan aims for a May release?

maybe if this was the hinted "Sith" power Palpatine/Sidious was talking about - to stop people from dying (well, not really, but a Sith doesn't always tell the truth or maybe they misunderstood this force gift?)
Anakin just vanishing and turning up for the victory party, only for a short moment, is strange - better explain the why and what in the PT
so in the OT we see it and in the PT we get a little more insight on the how, but not too much, as people don't like "midis" in their blood ;-)

nay, that is too complicated, such a way could only work in a novel, where everything is explained, when what why - in movies this is not very easy to convey ...
I think Anakin should disapear and thats that - for the PT, he shouldn't be the child-mass-murderer, the Empire has many killers to do the dirty work, Anakin only betrayed his kin not slaughtered them - my two cents.

well IF Anakin does disapear in Luke's arms, he later burns not only the empty suit, remember Vader had lost most of his body due the fight with Obi-Wan and other events before ANH (either how one wants to see it)
so, yes a symbolic closure and a complete destruction what the (last?) Dark Lord of the Sith was ...
I think the blinking Ewok looks kind of creepy ... if one does like it, ok but for me I would prefer the gaze they have, just make them tougher or cut them out to a minimum and bring in more ground rebel forces!
