I need to say "WOW!" first, before continuing, because if someone takes on the mission to not just edit one, but 4 to 5 movies at once is a task not everyone is capable or willing to do ...

and I am split between at last getting ROTJ:R and a better PT:R - over there in the "Radical Prequel" thread I posted some ideas and toyed with others about improvements, that seem possible or realistic - so Adywan is surely one, if not the best who could pull the Houdini, that Lucas left behind ;-)

Wasn't sure if it is legit, but since no joke, this could be the last Dark Horse comic, if Marvel is to obtain the licence again:

At last had the chance to see some episodes of "TRON: Uprising", and I like it :-)

Though need to watch the first episode, didn't get all the stuff what happened to TRON and why Clu isn't present, just his right hand "man" ...

hm, too bad there seems to be no green light yet for a second season, when the first one according to reviews "ends" an a cliffhanger, maybe Disney will order another, if "TRON 3" is for certain?

I'm very curious where "TRON" as a whole will be leading to, after playing the rather good Video Game "TRON 2.0", I allready thought "how about a virus story" for a sequel ;-)

Since nobody else seems to have time (hope its not because they don't care), I want to state my interest in your project, since "TRON: Legacy" came out I wished Disney would have updatet the old movie, with handled care ;-)

So you try to modify the look of TRON to make it more Legacy and alter some (or all?) music and sounds ...

too bad I haven't had the chance to watch "Uprising" yet, did you watch it, is it "good" ?

I did a little mindgame on my way home yesterday, thinking about society and mused over some philosophical subjects I discussed with a colleague ...

there it dawned on me, like "Also sprach Zaratustra", that Nietsches idea of the "Übermensch" fits perfectly with the "Engineers" - in terms when he wrote: what the ape is to man, is man to the "superman" ;-)

And again we have a "connection" from Ridley Scott to "2001" - I really wish 'had more time at hand and the technical equipment ready, so I could cut my own version of "Prometheus" ... well, someday later

if the title (sequence) should consist of letters, rather than numbers, and we had "Prometheus", "Leviticus" isn't that far away as an alternative ;-)

don't have a good picture of it, but at least the headcount at the Hoth briefing Leia gives the crews (pilots&gunners!), suggests, that there are at least more than 5 snowspeeders ;-)

to me this also was a little off, that absolute darkness, no light or heads to be seen - I think it would be a small continuity flaw if all AT-AT "cockpits" were in red light (because in the scene with Veers it looked normal), but maybe just show some interaction, not total blackness ;-)

just kidding - I think the idea Qui-Gon = Skywalker works best, if one wants a prequel film before "Star Wars", Maul = Vader is possible too, maybe his relation to Obi-Wan is kind of tricky to explain (or show), but his transformation into the "half man/machine" plus battle on vulcano could work.

Skywalker doesn't even be friends with Vader, Kenobi only said, he betrayed and murdered him - thats all ...

If one trims the prequels and cuts Empire & Jedi, then there would be room for a "new" 3rd movie ;-)

when the "lights went out" for her, I nearly thought that she had gone, adding the "oxygen-countdown" offscreen, fading into an "afterlife" dream whatsoever, would be just ambivalent, to what the rest of Prometheus was about ;-)

As for "recutting" - maybe an approach like "Collaborative Fanproject ROTJ" would be possible, to fill the gaps left with fanfilms and other stuff, that matches the story/timeline

Redubbing is a good idea, at least some characters can be pushed or saved, with right dialog we could get more out of the poor films Lucas made ...

I had a "radical" thought: not sure if it came on here before, but it would just fit like a glove ... and with your idea/s to fuel it ;-)

We meet a young Jedi Knight, Obi-Wan, and his not so much younger to-be Apprentice Anakin in Episode 1, story goes from blockade/invasion to rescue/diplomatic mission ,where the political conflicts are layed down for the rest of the Saga - must think about Dooku and Maul/Grievous, where to put them (and when Qui-Gon should die).

Next Episode 2, when Anakin had some years, about 10, under Ben's training, their friendship is tested by the "Clone Wars", which started shortly before movie starts (details may follow), Palpatine has put ideas into Ani's brain, the love to Padme could be much more focus, on why Jedi outcast Skywalker - maybe build some conspiracy within the senate - E2 ends with "the duel", Anakin's fall - Victory is on the far horizon.

Conclusion in "Revenge of the Sith": the "Clone Wars" are nearly over, many deaths are to be mourned, then "Vader" a dark assassin hunts and kills Jedi and senators alike, no one knows his identity and Palpatine, who has risen to supreme ruler of the Republic declares the Jedi as enemies (maybe with proof of Dooku's and/or Anakin's foul play in the "Clone Wars") - Rest as we know it ...

Don't know if birth of the Twins should be onscreen, it brings some difficulties - same as showing Vader's "transformation".

well, even David could be the last one, and then there is the signal (which was meant to be a warning) things repeating itself ...

Since we first saw "young Ani", I thought that we should see an older version from the start - he could be younger than Luke or even some years his senior - but at least about Obi-Wan's age (this would fuel the rivalry between "brothers" later ...)

Not sure if he should already be in the Order, just "overlooked", and be "found" by Obi-Wan, who not ready to be Master, takes up training him as his student - Anakin could also be (as some have suggested) a spice trader, smuggler type like Han, which would reflect some interactions with the scoundrel ;-)

The "leitmotif" should be: the road to hell is paved with best intentions!

So we have these different characters, from all ranging cultures and social positions, the hub is Plaplatine, who knows of their secrets and flaws ...

For the "big secret" - one could leave the "Vader transformation" offscreen - that isn't so bad ... on the other hand, we could lay some red herings, like turning Darth Maul into General Grievous (I try to make some mockups how "Darth Grievous" could look onscreen)

The other thing I wish to change is how Sidious is introduced: to keep a little suprise or make a greater impact in Episode3, Palpatine could be just the "nice old man" until he drops his mask in the final act.

Other road could go like this: we know who Sidious is, no smokes and mirrors, only the characters stab in the dark about this "mystery of the Sith" - so we cringe at every "wrong" decision that they make, only to see the inevitable end ...

Though as nice as it may be, it is really strange, the engineer ripped David apart, did away with the doctor and "red shirt" guy - only to have problems with Shaw?

He could also with ease crush her, not play games, and somewhat the logic, why he hunts her, kind of escapes me (she wasn't hostile, the others were, and at that even towards her)

so yes, I would leave that "end battle" out - question is should Shaw live or Vickers, what about David?

And cool to close with the "distress call" ;-)
