STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION

That could be a good way to deal with it. Saves Ady having to do extended music in the credits and would solve the issue of the credits getting longer as more and more people support ady's thread/contribute. You could even have the credits just in list form accessible from the dvd menu of the main disk.

EDIT: Misread ChainsawAsh's post. I've just paraphrased what he said.

That's what you get for staying up all night editing without caffeine.

Ah well. Perfectly understandable, Ady! I'd hate for you to jeopardise the flow of the music at the end because of all the people jumping on the Revisited bandwagon. At least I'll hopefully have my name in my all-time favourite movie :-)

I am still in your Howard the Duck: Revisited credits as agreed right? :-p

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Maybe he'll only want the people who supported him when the project was first completed. And that's completely understandable.

I can't deny it would be fantastic seeing my name in the credits through the whole saga though.

Hopefully it wouldn't spark too much of a backlash from the ones who followed the project from the start and they don't start sounding like Vietnam war veterans.

SW Episode III - Reign of the Dark Side (* unfinished project *)

The Y-Wings replacing the 'Ug-Wings' would have been bearable. There's even a variant of the YWing in the Clone Wars series which has a gunner pod behind the cockpit and all its panels intact.

But the fact they have split wings and are red and white is meant to suggest it's a predecessor of the X-Wing. Which makes no sense.

The Ywings would make a bit more sense as in ANH they're beaten up and don't make up the main bulk of the ships. Suggests they've been salvaged.

But my main complaint about the ARC-170 is that it's just hideous!!!!

An idea that has absolutely no pay off.

BTW, did I mention how FUGLY they are?

Do people honestly think George Lucas puts any thought into continuity with the EU when he writes this stuff? He doesn't even maintain continuity between movies ffs!

The extent of his thinking is "hmmm what made the originals popular? Well people liked the ships. Yeah let's just copy that"

Also I bet that EU thing only came up afterwards to explain George's illogical decision, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, we need to see the corruption of the dark side take hold over the years. Not have vehicles representing it in the mix before the emperor takes power. (Nor have it implied they've been 'on standby' to replace the current ones)

The Tie Fighter became a symbol of evil oppression in the OT. What would it become to someone watching chronlogically if they were around in the republic era too? Even if it's on the cusp of the reform.

I think having ships like the jedi starfighters, which are reminiscent of the TIEs without being "evil" is fine! One of the few things Lucas got right. Unlike those fugly supposed X-Wing precursors.

God I cannot convey enough how much I hate those ships, or how little their inclusion makes sense.

Funny how they mock it as a waste of time when they're the ones feeling the need to comment on something they have no interest in.

And on FACEBOOK of all places. That's the biggest waste of time on earth, surely. I wasn't aware that Facebook was all of a sudden the domain of the ultra-virile male. Thought they'd be too busy chopping down trees, eating raw meat or playing full contact male-on-male sport together. There's no better way to assert your heterosexuality afterall.

Except mocking people behind the anonymity of your keyboard apparently. Very manly.
