ady, did you say you were going to release a colour corrected ESB before the final thing? if so, any idea when? it would be great to use that for the same cinema! 

has anyone seen ADM/editous ESB and ROTJ edits? just want to know if i should get hold of them as alternatives for the showing perhaps. i know if i watch the 2004 ESB ill just be thinking; blue blue blue.....

the motion comic thing isnt such a bad idea as alot of the key material is already made, someone was doing a dark empire one i think. the watchmen motion comic is pretty cool.

star wars comics are a mixed bunch though. any comic adaptations of the films tend to be REALLY bad.

would you rewrite the prequels completely? it would make an awesome thread, just for ideas. i mean some of us were speculating for nearly 10-20 years as to the stories!

i like it, would be nice to see some clips though.

could the flasnback-present transitions blend in and out of this affect?

there were some people doing 3d cartoons of the new republic, but i cant remember what it was called.

typically there was a great trailer, then well....nothing.

i was considering making a motion comic of shadows of the empire. but as im working on alot of uni stuff (funnily enough, a COMIC) its on the to do list.:P

it would be interesting to see it get an IMDB profile, but i agree with an earlier point. it would be dreadful if we over publisised it only for ady to get shut down. i generally tell anyone i know who is interested, but on the grand scale of things thats not too many. when he is finished the adyvangelism can truly begin so to speak.:P

the thing i love about endor, is how the rebels are all in camo to obviously stay hidden from the empire, yet they take a bright golden robotic man with them? sadly i guess he is integral to the plot...:P

any ideas to using obi wan in endor? i'd like to see some of softi han being cut down perhaps (less furry cuddles i guess!)

how about the background behind boba fett when he is loading solo into slave 1, are you going to do anything to that shot? it always looked really empty to me.

theres a poster that i have seen somewhere, i think it may even be fan art. it depicts the emperor almost blessing a kneeling vader, by placing his helmet on his head. it almost looks medieval.

i would have loved to have seen vader revealed this way.

maybe vader limps off the table without his helmet, looking uncomforatble with his face weezing, he then drops to his knees, slowly rising from weakness to submission. the emperor then approaches the newly created monster, and lowers the helmet onto his head, knighting him. maybe this could be the point where he announces him as darth vader.

it would be impossible, but it would be interesting if he turned earlier and was pretending to be good. but thats silly.

to be honest the AD ep III cut was ruined IMHO by the Liam Neeson lines insertion. Ep III, was a bit too busy for my liking, less would definitly be more. the only adition of voices i would support would be if we were to edit anakin skulking in palps office as discussed on the other thread, it could even be like the padmes ruminations scene, just loads of voices putting pressures on him.

- would it be possible to have the jedi conversation about removing palp from office leading to windu doing it, so the jedi almost did a bad thing. ui hate how black/white things are. the jedi should make mistakes, even moral ones.

things id prefer to see in an ep III edit;

anakin with a red saber at the end fight! its on youtube and really looks awesome

removal of vader in the suit. they really butchered it in ep III. id much rather see it gone.

removal of padmes death, and maybe even alot of the twins birth, we could just see her deliver, then maybe cut to the discussion about them, so we never find out what happens to her, would remove her death.

- perhaps if she is insanely whimpering due to her stress we could assume she is relieved of the children because of a nervous breakdown?

grevious - maul hint perhaps? could be in replaced dialogue, but if not, clone wars series could provide alternative dialogue.

the whole obi wans additional training thing, really unnecessary. if it had some form of hint in ep II or earlier in II i wouldnt mind, but as i said, the film is busy enough, and when we are winding down to the end of a film we dont want to be confronted with more titbits.

check out darkhelmets dialogue tweeks, they work much better

trim anakin-obi fight, and even find a more tasteful yoda/sidious fight, id even be tempted getting rid of it all together, or at least trimming the lightsaber action. id much rather see a dumbledore vs voldemort style fight.

trim mace vs sidious of the silly jumpy bits. have you seen the reborn version of it? they did an amazing job!

what if order 66 was reworked? i dont know how, but what if it happened before windu goes to the office, and ani turns? it could be a retaliation taken against him.

i would like to see boba given a new death, decapitation in the heat of a battle would be awesome but really difficult i could imagine.

on a metaphorical level one could see it as boba recieving the same fate as his father as he didnt change his ways, as luke runs the danger of perhaps?
