I didnt noticed that the throne room had some purple hue from its own in some SE shots :)

would it be appropriate to see endor from the emperors throne room? perhaps it could be hinted that the DSII rotates slightly, so endor moves abut the window.

 This would be VERY interesting! I'm working on various things...but if noone gets to it soon I might try attempting a rough version sometime...

all editting is currently on hold pending on my bent IT technician giving me a copy of the university Final Cut. I swapped my 50gb hdd for a 500gb one so there would be more rendering space!

i think ive mentioned this before, but id love to see someone construct a musicless TPM lightsaber battle, like in ESB, where the music is created by the hum of the sabers. perhaps some score could bleed through eventually, but nothing with vocals (duel of the fates was awesome, but the vocals wernt star warsy for me)

wow, angel those recolours look so nice! it makes such a difference that the actors were on physical sets.

ESB was my favourite, probably followed by ROTS, but annoyingly ROTS doesnt sound like a STAR WARS film to me, just a good score. 

does anyone know anything about the JW/GL relationship? he would have been writing music for Harry Potter I-III at a similar time to the prequels, yet the Harry Potter scores seem alot more proficient (especially III), so i wonder if he just provided lucasfilm with something just to get a huge sum of money for? AOTC had some nice pieces, but nothing to bind it together.

TPM was great, especially the themes associated with anakin, which surprisingly didnt make it that far into the other prequels. i have no idea how to compose music, but would anyone know how to do a subversion of the Imperial March, so it sounded like a theme for the good guys? So when we hear the Imperial March later on in the saga, it sounds like an evil version of the good guy theme?

okay, personally id prefer all blue, except for green in ROTJ, and of course red for baddies. but if people can figure out other colour schemes that are more interesting for seperate edits, then id be interested to see them.

windows 7 and osx have a pleasant cycle wallpaper function. a series of 1280x800 vaderios recolours would look fab on a macbook......;)

i know you are an eager fan of the ROTS style colours, with harsh contrasts and pure blacks. have you ever tried making ROTS mockups of the OT?

if OT ships are to make an appearance, or have references in the PT, it would be cool if the seperatists could be further portrayed as proto-rebels by having rebel-esque ships too. the droid fighters were blatantly based on ties, and the republic fighters in ROTS were obvioulsy six winged x-wings. id like the narrative of the PT to hint that the seperatists were percieved to be wrong but were vindicated by the emergence of the empire.

the only reason id like to see OT craft in PT, is that the OT had a much more consistent array of spaceships, and id like to see that in the PT. i dont want two trilogies personally, but a six film epic with two acts.

could we start a colour correction thread perhaps? we could repost images with just a note of what was done? mockups would go well too. i love seeing these standard sized little frames.

in the little drums and jabba edit i did a while ago, the music is still lightly present behind the dialogue, but is masked by the chanting. if you imagine the music is chopped up, so is only heard amongst dialogue, the abstract little bits of music can be flowed into background noise if done well.

maybe a ric olie set of subtitles? i can imagine a list -

on the subject of palpatine turning into a grey scrotum immediately enstead of the slow deterioration, if this cant be fixed, then perhaps all his facial appearances when he is the hooded mysterious sidious, could have a wrinkly face quite obviously? so the lightening is removing his mask as oppose to changing his face?

it may be interesting too perhaps if we have hints that the dark lord could infact be somebody else, like snape/windu for example.

maybe its adywan distracting us from revisited until he gets it done?

i kinda liked how in the infinities rotj leia is there too. it makes her being force sensitive a bit more of an item. although how she got to the throne room was a bit unbelievable.

the whole descoring thing reminded me of when my dad said he got me the lego pirate ship for my birthday, but enstead of big red sailed one, i got the smaller blue armada ship. although it was still great, i did cry due to an overwhelming sense of anticipation later crushed by a massive sense of disappointment.

is it possible that fishmanlee is actually a member of the board deliberately winding people up with a second account? he seems to know what buttons to press to piss people off.
