i think the PT did mess up the OT only because its referenced in the OT by ben. you cant help but think of anakin when hes talking about his former pupil

that one thing i like about those early drafts they seem so primitive and mythical, in terms of story and dialogue, i wish the prequels had been more like that instead of all new and modern

yeah but would you want to watch ep 4 after watching ep 1? or the first matrix after matrix revolutions? thats what i mean by bringing down a franchise. what about the last few star trek flicks, they tarnished thier respective good names

i agree with that how would sidious have a vader suit all ready to go anyways? thats why i hated the ending of rots, it all felt so anti climatic

it was pretty bad to sit with a roomful of people whom star wars gave some meaning to and watch it all go up in smoke. what a sad early morning that was for me and for alot of other people. when those lame destroyer droids showed up, i dug into my seat and knew in my heart of hearts this was the end for star wars, something i loved since i was at least a toddler

all anyone has to do is go to simply scripts, ther is no prequel backstory anywhere to be found in all the drafts since '74

lucas had no backstory, youre right bizzle it was just the very rough outline to ANH, which he kinda used in ESB as well, what with the heroes hiding in an asteroid field

ian mcdiarmid sucks in esb just because he looks bloated and catatonic, and the fact he has to tell vader that the skywalker hes looking for is his son, what? also the fact that in the prequels it was established that there could only be two sith, why would the emperor send vader out to get luke when vader would try to convert him (which he did) espescially since vader was related to luke, what a gamble for such a master designer of everything in the PT
