Well i've made a total cock-up with the special features for the DVD-9's. I have totally missed out the Isolated Music score so i've got to rebuild all the special features menus. I have to say a big SORRY to everyone that has created the DVD covers with the special features list. This is the correct list:

5.1 Dolby Digital English Audio
Subtitles: English, Spanish & Dutch(Dutch available on PAL version only)
"Revisited" Trivia subtitle track
Deleted Scenes: Jabba the Hutt, Jabba the Hutt 3D, Extended Alderaan destruction concept, Luke & Biggs
Isolated Music Score Audio Track
3 Trailers
ESB Revisited teaser trailer
Multi Angle SP-FX breakdown scene
2 Easter eggs.
DVD-ROM folder containing cover & label artwork & Visual Comparison pdf file.

New 'The Clone Wars' movie trailer
Time

Just found this on Youtube.

Clone Wars Trailer

I’m really not sure about this series. And releasing it at the cinema just stinks of cash grabbing at its worse, which is what the whole Star Wars franchise has sadly become. Its starting to look worse to me every time i see something new about it. I’m mean, come on, kidnapping Jabba’s son? Why the hell would the Jedi be bothered about helping out a gangster?

Unless something in the next few months that changes my mind about this so called movie the this will be the first ever Star Wars film that i will not be going to the cinema to see.

At least if it is as bad a i think it will be then it will make the PT look good in comparison. 😃

Well it was an amazing logo you did Sky_. the weirdest thing about it was through all our communication we never actually discussed what length i wanted it. I already had the music ready because i was messing about with one myself but when i saw yours mine got scrapped and the video you sent was exactly the same length so i didn't have to change the music i wanted. That really shocked me. plus all the sound fx i added were also i the same place so when i added the fighters & stuff to it then it all fit perfectly.

Can't thank you enough for doing that for me.

I am also waiting to see what Ady has come up with for his cover.

Ady,

Did you use oil paint, pastels, etc? I am curious.

Also, you sure you aren't triplets? Because you do the work of at least three people. It is amazing what you accomplish.

I'm using acrylics on canvas.

Ok there is something i really need to ask. Could people please stop PMing & emailing me about their suggestions for more changes to this edit and telling me what i should change because they don't like something i have done. I'm sorry to be harsh here but i'm really getting fed up with a lot of these emails. I have done the edit that I wanted to do and it was not to please anyone else. If you don't like something then i'm sorry but its tough luck. There will be no more revisions to ANH Revisited done by me EVER. The version now is the version i wanted. The thread has been open almost 2 years an most things were covered. Explanations were given to my reasons for certain changes. While most have been pleasant some have been just down right rude & pathetic.

One person emailed me saying i have ruined Georges vision and should be hunted down and forced never to touch another film again. the best one i got, only because i couldn't stop laughing at the dumb f**k....
" You removed the dinosaurs from Mos eyesley (not my spelling, his) which now makes that whole sequence look like it come from the 1970s. Replacing the dinosaur with crappy looking computer generated stormtroopers was uncalled for. George added those creatures when he filmed it for a reason and you have removed the alien feel from that whole scene now. "

At first i thought that it was a joke but after regrading his whole email i realised he had only ever seen the 2004 dvd's. i pity whoever it was.

I WILL NOT be replying to any more emails suggesting is should change this, or fix that. This edit is over.

Please guys, give it a rest. Don';t you think i've done enough already. :) lol

I've been impressed that he still has time for a "real job". I wonder what it is he does, because I don't think it's film editing, special effects, sculpting, painting, or any of the other things he's done for this project.

Unfortunately i am unable to work due to health reasons but i like to keep myself busy. I've never been one that can just sit around doing nothing but day to day life is now becoming more difficult as my health deteriorates. Which is why i want to get the saga done while i still can.

P.S. love the cover HotRod. I wish i'd thought of that design. :)

What's this Luke and Biggs scene? This is the first I've heard you mention this.

It's just the Anchorhead conversation, nothing special. i haven't done any restoration to it but i managed to smooth out the motion to eliminate the jerkyness caused by the originals low framerate and added some ambient sounds & music. Just a filler really.

Can someone, anyone confirm or deny this rumor? I'll be heartbroken if its true.

Don't worry. that was a totally made-up rumour by The Sun newspaper. There won't be a new series in 2009, but instead 4 specials, then a new series will return in 2010. This is because David Tennant will be doing a season playing Hamlet so would be unable to film a full series.

Well here's some spoilers for the finale gathered from what is gathered from on set reports. Highlight to read:
Spoiler:
Episode titles:
# 1. Partners in Crime
# 2. The Fires of Pompeii
# 3. Planet of the Ood
# 4. The Sontaran Stratagem
# 5. The Poison Sky
# 6. The Doctors Daughter
# 7. The Unicorn & The Wasp
# 8. Silence in the Library
# 9. The Forest of the Dead
# 10. Midnight
# 11. Turn Left
# 12. Unconfirmed (The BBC are holding the title of this one back because it is supposed to give too much away but it is rumoured to be War on Skaro, which has come from a reliable source, or The Time War)
# 13. Journey's End

The finale is a 3 part story arc. The Daleks are back and have invaded Earth. Davros is rumoured to be appearing. Cast members confirmed for the finale are: Martha, Rose, Capt Jack, Mickey, Jackie & Sarah Jane Smith. There is a regeneration in the series although it may not be the Doctor. The doctor is badly injured and the companions have to come together to save him. On set photos and video show the doctor getting hit (most likely by a dalek laser) and falling to the ground & billy leaning over his lifeless body then capt Jack shouting " we have to get him back to the TARDIS". The Doctor has a daughter (played by the real life daughter of Ex-Doctor Peter Davidson) There will be a shock revelation about Donna & the Doctor (or someone else)will have to erase her memories. Clues will be in almost every episode about the finale. Clues in episode 1 seem to be the sticker on the Taxis that read "ATMOS" and about the bees disappearing.

This looks to be a good season. I love the new theme music and Catherine Tate looks to become a great companion (even though at the end she started going into Nan).

If you live in a country that uses the PAl system, can you still watch an NTSC-dvd? Does it matter if your broadcasting system is digital or anolog (sp?)? Because I think I would want the purist edit as well, for completion's sake. Sorry if my question is stupid as I'm really ignorant about these things :)

It all depends if your TV can handle as almost all PAL DVD players will play NTSC too. If you have an LCD TV then the chances are that it can. Older style PAL TVs are a bit hit & miss. the best thing is just to try it out.
