No, in Jedi the cockpit shots were filmed at closer range so you couldn't see out of the cockpits rear windows most of the time, plus i don't have to add that bloody middle strut to every Falcon cockpit window scene ever again.

Yeh i'm not looking forward to it much myself although my 9600dpi scanner is really fast but i've worked out that i will have to scan it in 10 separate sections and then stitch it together. But i'd rather do that than pay the extortionate fees i was quoted to get it professionally scanned around here.
Even though i probably won't be able to post the discs out until next weekend you should see the DVD-9's appearing on a.b.starwars in the next few days

I really don't think the force ghosts need recolouring at all. I've always loved the way they looked. I'm just thankful that they never did add Qui-Gon's ghost to ROTS because knowing GL he would have changed the look completely, although i have noticed that they look a little more faded than they use to.

I probably won't be able to post the discs out this weekend because i don't get paid until the end of next week and i'm skint (just had to buy more paint.)
I still haven't had any offers for the PIF chain from anyone in the UK yet.

That's weird. Not sure of the SATA models, but Dark Jedi recommended the Pioneer DVR115D to me, and I have never had better luck with a burner. It's light years beyond anything else that I've ever used.

I'd stay well clear of the later Pioneer models, especially the SATA ones like the DVR-215. It just refuses to burn dual layer discs, even with the latest firmware (i have 2 drives and both have the same problem). Failed to burn any, including verbatim, yet when i try the same discs in my external LG drive they burn with a 100% success rate. I would recommend the LG drives over the newer Pioneer ones anyday

The IDE models of the Pioneer drives have always been great for me but when i swapped to SATA they are nothing but problematic. It appears to be a problem with Pioneers firmware as a lot of people are having problems with their SATA drives, including their bluray ones, on different motherboards. Pioneer have said they are looking into it but the latest firmware didn't fix the issues. I'd say stick with IDE drives

What i need now is the people who contacted me a while ago with the offers of helping out with the PIF scheme , could you please PM me again because i just can't find the original PM's. Someone offered ages ago who had a DVD Duplicator but again i can't remember who that was, but i do have an idea. I basically need someone in the US, the UK and Australia to get the chain started that will be using high quality media (preferably Verbatim). These offers need to get to me by the weekend, if possible, so i can get them out.
Also next weekend they will be available via usenet and hopefully someone can begin torrents too

Its not that obvious on the painting. i think that reflection has caused it to stand out more than it actually does

It happens a lot. i've set up copywrite on all my work no so i'm pretty much protected. I took the site who stole my pics to court but cuz they were American based our bloody court system didn't want to know. so i stopped painting for quite a few years because of it. this will be the first painting i've done in quite a while and god i'm rusty

I'm going to go down the photography route. I have had a few paintings scanned in the past and the results haven't been that good. the problem with scanning a painting is that the scanner emphasises the brush strokes and highlights them. the best route i have always found is taking a photograph. You need a tripod and good lighting, preferably daylight, but not too strong that there will be any reflections on the painting so never use a flash. I always use the self timer function because this eliminates the risk of any blurring when taking the picture. You do need a good camera though.

Well i haven't had any PM's they're just emailing me and are too chicken to say who they are. I don't actually think that they are all from this site though. the edit generated a lot of anger on other sites and my email address is easily available. I just ignore them because, after all, i have a life and they don't. :)

I always use ImgBurn on a PC. they also spit out some single layer discs too saying incompatible media (even though i only use either Verbatim or Tayo Yuden discs) but the same discs that were spit out by the pioneer burn without problems with my LG. The 2 SATA pioneer drives i have are useless (one has the latest firmware, the other the original version that it was shipped with). A few people have had problems with Pioneer SATA drives, but pioneer just say that its problems with system drivers being out of date, which my systems have all the latest drivers. Strange thing though is that the drive with the older firmware burns a lot better than the one with the latest firmware so my thoughts are that its nothing to do with system drivers but is instead to do with pioneers firmware. I just crossed flashed my one drive from a 215D to a 215 and funnily enough its started to burn dual layer, but is still too picky on media. My advise is to stay clear of SATA DVD drives. Never had a problem with any of the Pioneer IDE drives i've ever had, but i'm sticking with my LG drive.

The cover is taking so long, a lot longer than i originally thought. But it is getting there. I decided to give you all a sneak peak at what its going to look like. It's nowhere near finished and i'd say there is probably another couple of weeks work left to do on the painting, but here's what it looks like so far: (plus hopefully this will stop the dick-heads that have emailed me saying that i'm bullshitting about doing a painting for the cover and that i'm just delaying the release to be a dick. losers.)

Yes, the pioneer burners are very good. I've used them since the 102 model. I know have a 111 and a 112 in my pc (and I previously had the 102, 104, 106, 110, 111 and 112. I have burned hundreds of single layer discs and close to a hundred dual layers discs and I have never had a coaster. But I'm only using my pioneers in combination with ImgBurn and verbatim media.

Not sure what you mean by "can't get it to go together" but my guess is that you may have some incomplete rars and you mean you can't unpack it. make sure you download the par2 files that come with the post and use QUICKPAR to repair the files and you should have no problem
