After seeing that deleted scene, I think you'd have to completely cut out the whole tank room part, because the animatics are there for the whole thing. You'd have to cut it just before they cut the floor and somehow find a way to explain how they end up in the shaftway. Or maybe make it seem like they cut the floor and fall into the shaft.

I haven't seen many Raider games this year, but I've heard people say that without Moss, the offense is hopeless. I guess that wasn't the case yesterday with Jordan having a good day, but what's the deal with the other receivers? Are they underachieving or are the "experts" just wrong?

I think its time to give McNabb a rest and start Koy. Clearly, McNabb's injuries have rendered him incapable of playing anywhere near his usual level. He looked terrible out there, yet again

Ah yes, the infamous Koy Detmer. Former Colorado Buffalo who was once 2nd on the depth chart behind Kordell Stewart.

I'm not sure what would be better for Philly at this point, but with the Broncos coming off a tough loss to the G-men yesterday, they'll be hungry for a win at home against the one-dimensional Eagles.

Besides the fact that Kiera says the line, "my name is Domino Harvey, I'm a bounty hunter" way too many times, it's not a bad film at all. Everyone I saw it with said they liked it, and it had some funny stuff in it, like when she punches that guy from 90210 and breaks his nose.

Don't worry about me. I've had my share of brushes with the LFL legal department in the past. They know about me already. Being mentioned in a newspaper column about a completely different project isn't going to change anything.

Tayo Yuden or Verbatim DatalifePlus are the best discs out there. I don't know any specifics on your particular hardware, but these two brands of media produce the least amount of coasters of anybody.

This site is no secret. If LFL had a problem with what we do here they would have already contacted Jay.

An article that explains what we're doing and why in a non-condescending way can only be a good thing for us and the site.

I only have one more suggestion: uninstall ffdshow and download and install the Gordian Knot codec pack from doom9. This is different from the rip pack which contains the ripping/encoding software. You may have to decline the installation of the newest DivX as it may contain adware. It will also install ffdshow and set it with the proper settings.

It is possible that you are missing a certain codec or are currently using an unsuitable codec for mpeg processing. If that doesn't work then I give up.

I use MySQL for all my PHP web sites and I use PHP MyAdmin as a frontend. I've never delved into .NET, but I like PHP over ASP. I downloaded a installation package called Xampp to get it all working. I didn't want to have to learn how to install a bunch of stuff separately to get my database stuff working, and it did the trick.

Usually in 5.1 audio, a lot of the time the center channel plays mostly dialogue and the other speakers play the sound effects and soundtrack. If you extract the audio as separate wave files with a program like BeSweet, you can isolate the center channel and change the dialogue.

I think a fan edit library is a great idea. I was thinking about doing something like that on my own web site already. It would be great to be able to see info about all the releases in one place and get links to media and feedback threads for each one. Perhaps allow for a small screenshot or two and a brief description for each one?

I don't know if there's any place you could find information like that on the net. You may have to revert to some technical manuals or a service manual for a laserdisc player.
