Yeah definitely not. Most of those posts were definitely made before today (or before I typed this). That means you definitely posted around 330 posts in 6 days. That's definitely around 55 posts per day. So definitely not 48.

It's great to finally see this come about!

Special thanks to Dayv, Rikter, YodaIsYourFather, Coov, and everyone else for putting this together.

Laserman is one of OT's most beloved members. His contributions to the boards, especially the Preservation forums, have helped this place grow into what it is today. He has provided some of the best, most informative posts this board has ever seen. His expertise in the world of video production is second to none. If it weren't for people like Laserman, this would be a much different place. The X0 Project wouldn't even exist!

I hope everyone will join us in helping Laserman in this difficult time.

The old IFO files worked for me, though I couldn't figure out a way to fix the time. However, I did use the 5.1 audio instead of the 2.0 and I edited the IFO to reflect that. Still worked fine. I'll try out the new IFOs and see if I can do the same thing.

And yes, there should only be 6 VOBs. 5.xGB of video + AC3 = 6 (~1GB) VOBs.

I nearly cried last night, I was this close to just packing it all in.

This is exactly why I'm saving up for a RAID5 Array. If one drive fails, all is not lost. I have 650GB+ of data stored on my computer (mostly from video projects) and most of it isn't backed up.

Are the retail ones burned into the video or something? That didn't happen to me. Also, you might want to check and see if "secondary subtitles" are turned on in your player's settings..
