ORIGINAL STAR WARS TRILOGY OUT 09/2006 BY LUCASFILM
Time
It doesn't matter what his true intentions are. Whether he's changed his mind and wants to give something back to the fans, or he's just out for the next thing that will make Lucasfilm some money now that the ROTS ship has sailed, people will still find ways to shed a negative light on this.

I think a lot of people need to take a step back and think about this for a second. A lot of you are asking some very valid questions. A couple of you can't seem to handle the news and have reverted to posting like a 3rd grader on AOL for the first time. Still some just think that everything this site stands for is obsolete and there's no reason to continue doing what we do.

I don't have all the answers, but I challenge everyone to think about what this news means to the community as a whole and ask yourself why it is that you come to this site - and more specifically - this Preservation and Fan Edits board. If you only come here to find out how to leech a copy of your favorite transfers, I doubt we'll see you back here much anymore. For the rest of us, I think this news changes things, but not nearly as much as people are led to believe.

So, can anyone tell me when was the last time both the 1 and 2 seeds were knocked off in the first round?

Detroit and Dallas both looked flat in the playoffs. It just goes to show that when you have everything locked up well before the season ends, you still need to play at a high level because you can't just flip the switch and all of a sudden start playing your best hockey again. Even when it mattered most, the top two teams in the Western Conference got outplayed by the two lowest seeds, who have been playing for their playoff lives the last couple of months.

I'm pulling for Anaheim, but I still think we'll be seeing Avalanche/Sharks and Oilers/Flames this weekend. Both should be great series.

Holy crap! Colorado can do no wrong agianst Dallas! Two games in a row they go down by 1 in the 3rd, two games in a row Brunette scores a goal in the final minutes to tie it up, and two games in a row the Avs win in OT. The OT goal was a fluke, but Avs definitely have Turco's number. I wouldn't be suprised if Dallas benches him on Friday.

Hell yes! Edmonton is sticking it to the Wings. I fell asleep during the intermission after the first OT, but was relieved when I woke up to find that the Oilers scored the game winner halfway into the next period. It'll be awesome if they can go up 3-1 on Detroit tomarrow. Being an Avs fan, it's just awesome anytime I get to see the Wings lose, especially in the playoffs. Especially when they're ranked #1.

Can't wait to see the Avs win again tonight at home!

Check out this screenshot comparison. Check out the shot from the Dark/Sega transfer:

From what I've seen, the Special Collection LD's are the closest in color to the actual film. The only problem with them is that they are a little too blue/green overall, as the film's age was starting to show at the time of the telecine. Still, I'd say that the original color was more blue/purple than red/orange. Whether that's a "deliberate creative decision" or not, who knows.
