It’s marketing artwork for the Star Wars Battlefront video game. I think it was used on a collector box for the game.

What the heck is this?
It’s a micky-take from the lads working on ROTJ - they put in a dragon from the 1981 film Dragonslayer and took a couple of photos for laughs, I think…
It’s THE dragon from Dragonslayer, Vermithrax Pejorative !
And yes, it’s a fun picture from the ILM guys.
Andrew Stanton ? Peter Jackson ? Wolfgang Peterson ? (OK Ok ok 😃)
The Bogdanov brothers. They’re real! (and French)
That’s the joke (?)
The scene in the 1977 comic book adaptation :
Some PS4 games I’ve enjoyed:
But it’s not Luxembourg! This mountain is the Matterhorn, and it’s in Switzerland, near the border with Italy…
It’s an example of a growing mountain of tax evasion mate 😉
But the mountain is not growing !! 😃

Why not hire a woman director? A wonder woman…
I don’t like you either
Rogue one & the sequels are pretty much new characters !
I wonder how many times the unaltered versions came up in conversation.
I don’t think they talked that much about the movies, I’m sure they mostly talked about their time together long ago, and what they’re up to now… Like every other reunion with old acquaintances.
I think everyone here has probably spent more money on Star Wars than is necessary over time regardless of format. And we would do it again if they let us.
We ❤️ Star Wars and give it all the moneys.
One last time, until 2006.
The same old transfer, one more time.
John Knoll who was the inspiration for the Special Editions, showing George Lucas how easy it was to create CGI on his Macintosh !
Pics or it didn’t happen!
I mean, for almost the past decade there have been cameras everywhere, a majority of people carries a camera with them all the time (the one that comes attached to your smartphone), and when something extraordinary happens, there’s photos and videos on the net the minute after. Tsunamis, earthquakes, meteors, tornadoes, thyphoons, nuclear accident… All those disasters have been extensively documented. So, where are the photos and videos of UFOs and other extra-terrestrial sightings?..
What about the separation masters, or the technicolor prints ?
Sorry if I missed the joke or the reference… Please explain ? Is it your president tweeting about CGI looking fake ?
?
The CGI look so fake ! It’s awful.
The exploitation of our nostalgia to sell the new movies and shows is a valid criticism. Touché, SilverWook.
But for me it goes even deeper. The Exorcist and Apocalypse Now were both revised and yet we can still view all versions in modern quality. Neither “Episode IV: A New Hope” nor its 1997 special edition won six academy awards in 1978, Star Wars did.
All versions of Close encounters of the third kind, all versions of Blade Runner… (and what about THX1138? I know it’s not Lucasfilm, but still…)
