We still talking about kenkraly?

Guy is either a troll, a child, or a mentally disturbed individual. Just read his posts - incoherent, repetitive, and unsubstantial.

He told everyone about an email from LFL saying all color issues were corrected. Nobody else received such an email. I called him out back then and later again when the images/videos began to leak.

Ignore him.

Georgec I am not all those things you just called me so why don't you just take back everything you said.

What are you then? A person? A cup? A lasersword? A colar? All those things? I'm dying to know.

Time

Guys, Iv'e bean thinkink abuot te Blue Rays and I thuohtg...

The sound for those little video clips of all 6 films on the star wars youtube channel just don't sound right. The little video clips on the starwars aficionado blogspot site and on the walmart site sound so much better. Those audio from those youtube clips will not be how it will sound when the final blu-ray's come out in September.

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not (not in the list on post 1 at least...) but will you be adding motion blur or AE's new stabilizer effect to this scene?

...anyone?

Well I, for one, will be doing no such thing.

I'll believe it when I see it. I known Adywan is well known for making miracles come true, but seriously, turning prequels into actual good movies comparable with the originals? I just don't believe it. But the next time i am watching any of the prequels in full is when they get revisited, that's for sure.

If 1941, Towering Inferno, Superman, Home Alone, Black Sunday, and Poseidon Adventure can get a complete release, I am sure Star Wars can.

If Frankenhooker can get a proper BluRay relase but Star Wars can't, anything is possible.

And if anything is possible, Vader may as well yell "Noooooooo" all thorough the saga.

Case closed!

yes, dark empire was not bad for many elements but why Luke, the characters who resisted the Dark Side, challenged the emperor, saved the soul of the father risking his own life should now easily *choose* the dark side?

the emperor alive, again, destroy the meaning of the prophecy.

and the third one was terrible.

What I really liked was the introduction of the holrcrons, the rediscover of Ossus, the return of Boba. And yes, the pace that recall the OT's one. (Even due to the fact that the rebels are *still* rebels and are once again the small group dealing with a stronger enemy.

But if the EU satisfied me, I would not be here! ;)

Another point is that now, after dozens of books, the heroes are still struggling with enemies, battles, menaces. They're 60 and look and act like they were 30 y.o.

I'd like to give to the story and to the characters the epilogue they deserve!

Well Luke's turn was a bit wierd and the third part was pretty rushed. But I think that can be improved by some creative writing.

I wouldn't worry about some "prophecy". That is merely a (really weak) element introduced in the prequels and of course if you take prequels seriously, then the emporer has already won :)

Star Wars - Spirit of '77 (* unfinished project *)
Time

I had very similar idea for an edit, so I can't wait to see your work.

I have some bad news, however. I tried to recreate the missing dialogue from the scene where Biggs and Luke reunite on Yavin amd it seems the footage on BluRay and the shot used in the SE are completely different takes of the same shot. And of course the BluRay doesn't feature the shot in full. Thus I am afraid this scene can't be put back where it belongs...

Even Anakin strangely accusing Padme of kissing him is not as bad as siblings about to freaking romantically kiss.

Maybe, but then at least a bounty hunter hiring another bounty hunter to send a droid to dispatch poisonous bugs through hole in the window and the whole subsequent scene is much more awkward then twin romance. Even though that was pretty damn wierd to watch.

Escape From Planet Tatooine
Time

In my concept of the prequels, Anakin's name is in fact Anakin Lars. He left his familly at a young age and fled to Alderaan to become a pilot. He claimed to be an orphan because he was ashamed of his farming family. His abilities as a pilot soon earned him surname Skywalker.

Only after he looses Anakin, Obi-Wan discovers his family on Tatooine. He later places young Luke into their custody, because he feels that's where he belongs.

@Ripplin - I'm fairly certain that the music was done for the video game and not the book, so it's not *that* weird - there are a lot of video game soundtracks out there.

You might be mistaken. This CD is NOT the OST of the video game. It is rather a soundtrack to the Shadows of the Empire story (also known as "the movie that never really was a movie"). So you could say that this CD by Joel McNeely is really a soundtrack to the book, as well as the comics and junior novelization.

I am working on a Shadows of the Empire project. I might post some interesting info soon.
