Does anyone know anything about the new Star Wars PnP? I ran a few games of the Wizards of the Coast Star Wars game, but… I dunno. Once you play enough D20 games you start to realize the D20 system is a bit meh.

The new Star Wars game is done by the same people who did the Warhammer 40k PnP game, which I loved, and I just wondered how similar the two play.

Actually you can find many many examples. And the picture does make sense given that they’re obviously talking about games with The Witcher and The Elder Scrolls series which takes hundreds of hours to fully complete.

Exactly. Of course a game like Elevator Action isn’t going to provide much content, but playing through a game like Baldur’s Gate or Oblivion or something is gonna be a very content-rich experience.

The only new ship we have seen on one side is a troop deployment ship and nowhere in the original trilogy do we see that side deploy troops from a ship. I could see it an hanger or something but it doesn’t make sense for it to appear in combat.
The only time troops are deployed is in ROTJ and that’s with an Imperial ship (the wrong kind but that’s a different fix).

Oh, of course. We definitely don’t need a new scene where Rebel troops are landed. If it were to happen, just having it stuck in a hanger or flying along with a fleet or something would suffice for me.

Honestly, of all the stuff to add (be it Ady if he wants or whatever new Special Edition they decide to make) Rogue One stuff would make the most sense. I really hope we don’t see too many new ships in that movie or it’ll be weirdly disconnected with the OT.

Oh man, I was finishing off the Skrull Invasion the other day and one of the panels during the big final battle had Howard the Duck in the background fighting. Pretty funny.
