Last I heard there's still a Cinerama in LA and Seattle.

Darth Vader #1 was much more like it. It actually bothered with exposition and proper dialog.
I also love that they're going to be using Tagge. It just wouldn't be Marvel Star Wars without the Tagge family!
You mean Torres the half Klingon?

This is just SPECTACULAR news.Though I do have some reservations.
Im not particularly excited that Pascal is still attached to the franchise. She hasn't exactly been a great steward for it the past 13 years. The Sinister Six fiasco being the biggest disappointment.
Secondly, I really don't like this reshuffling of Phase 3 to make room for a Spidey flick. Specifically what this means for the Inhumans now that they've officially been introduced in AoS.
Lastly, I wonder what affect this is going to have on Black Panther. I'd hate to see him completely overshadowed.
Still, it'll be great to see Spidey mixing it up with the rest of the gang.
Midseason Return Trailer for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.!
I'm hyped!
You really need to read the original graphic novels. I don't know how they managed to stay fairly faithful but at the same time sap all of the entertainment out of those stories.
What killed Dark Knight Returns is they failed to put any of the emphasis or emotion into their delivery of the lines. Just awful execution.

If they're going to bring in another planet-destroying superweapon, then it should be scaled down, something relatively small and maneuverable -- a rocket with a cannon strapped to it, you could say -- not another moon-sized space station.
Pretty much exactly what I was thinking. I'd rather it be a space gun than another Death Star.
Like The Tarkin?
Or The Sun Crusher?
SilverWook please tell me how I can avoid ever watching that second transfer in your screencaps.
Wow, congratulations! This is well deserved, good luck in your new career! =D
Ah, yeah that's what was my concern as well and still was early on in the issue but I think they found their voices as it went along. Looking forward to reading the second issue later tonight.
Edit: BLEH! That was awful! I'll post my thoughts later when I get a chance. =(

written in character too (which is what I was quite worried about).
Care to explain what your worry was there?
They've been inspiring somebody...

The first teaser for Daredevil is out!
I just stumbled upon this piece and was immediately reminded of this thread:

I hadn't seen it before and noticed it's not on your site either.
Stellar collection by the way. Surprised by the number of things on there that I'd never seen before. Though I think there might be a couple pieces that aren't actually McQuarrie's work.
Oh sure there are sites and videos that show the big things. But I'm saying there was a site at one time that covered every change and the reasonings behind them. That site I can't find anymore.
Darn ever changing internet. There used to be a site that did a shot by shot break down of every single change in the Remastered episodes. Can't find it anymore.
ARRRGHHHHH!
Next week's episode (available now on Watch DisneyXD) is intense! The stakes are definitely being raised now.
Black Sea (2015)
Pretty good film. Though the actions of some of the crew were just ridiculously stupid.
Thinking about the film now, I think it was probably heavily inspired by The Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
Duracell, have you ever given any of IDW's Trek comics a whirl?
If not, I definitely recommend:

As to the question posed in the topic. It's because it was assumed everyone watched it seeing as it featured both the forum and our very own Jay.
So you have only yourself to blame!
Chris Weitz Joins Gareth Edwards’ ‘Star Wars’ Standalone Pic as Writer
Chris Weitz has come on board to pen Gareth Edwards’ “Star Wars” standalone movie for Disney and Lucasfilm.
He replaces Gary Whitta, who wrote the first draft of the script. Weitz’s involvement shouldn’t delay the start of production for the film, which is set for release on Dec. 16, 2016. Weitz was nominated for an Oscar for his work on the “About a Boy” adapted screenplay.
The film will be some sort of origin tale for a classic “Star Wars” character, with Boba Fett and Han Solo rumored to be possible routes, but more details of the story are unknown.
Edwards has been meeting with women, including Rooney Mara and Felicity Jones, for one of the female roles.
I like to think I've kept a close eye on Holiday Special related material but I've never seen this photo before in my life:

Everyone seems to forget Indiana has been played by others before. By at least four other actors in live action productions.
I thought Sean Patrick Flanery played a great Indy.
I have no qualms about casting a new Indiana Jones, I see it as about the same as casting a new James Bond.
What I wouldn't care for is a remake or reboot.
