Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! :)
I've been starting to surf the internet regarding on this whole "Fox giving the rights to the 5 sequels to Lucasfilm/Disney in 2020" thing since I been hearing talk about it. I pray it's not true now.
The 6 films belong to Fox and will continue to do so until the end of time (including Red Tails, Willow, and the additional Star Wars media Fox owns). Having to give the 5 sequels away while Fox keeps IV will break my heart into a bunch of little pieces as I want them ALL to stay with Fox.
Sorry to keep ranting but ever since I've heard about the deal, I have been oh so depressed. Am I the only one here who thinks Fox should've gotten this deal? It makes sense when you think about it, right?
Anyway, regarding on Fox losing the rights to the 5 sequels in 2020; real or (terrible) rumour?
My picks are Ridley Scott and James Cameron.
I'm very certain all the Lucasfilm films are still with their respected owners (the Star Wars Saga being with Fox for example), but what about the Ewok Adventures, Droids, Ewoks, the Clone Wars micro-series, and the Lego Star Wars specials? Are they still Fox or does Disney owned them now?
I don't if The Digital Bits link was posted (I'm too lazy to look through all the pages :P ), but I found this which makes me feel a little better on Disney buying Lucasfilm:
http://www.digitalbits.com/columns/my-two-cents/103012_1300
This one however:
"Disney plans to let ILM continue operating as it currently does"
...makes me feel really better. :)
As long as Disney lets Lucasfilm continue their buisness like before, I'm 100% happy.
UPDATE: I am an idiot beyond compare! I realized that factoid was for ILM and not Lucasfilm. Ugh!
If rumours of restoring the OUT are true, I'll be a happy fan! Throw in I and II too for good measure (III doesn't count since the theatrical version is already on Blu-ray).

Region B. :(
You can always count on Shout! to release a US Blu-ray though (they got a deal with Universal).
My thoughts on this deal: I don't like it.
Disney owning Lucasfilm is a major bad move and I don't like Disney handling Star Wars (less Lucasfilm will keep Star Wars to themselves). If anything, Fox should've gotten the Star Wars franchise hands down.
And there's no need for VII-IX or any spin off films! The 6 film saga is perfect and the film storyline doesn't need to continue. I worry about this :(
I'm not crazy about the new time. I mean Sat. at 9:30 am? I'll be still sleeping by then and I'm a guy who likes to catch the first showing.
So, no one asked or heard anything about the original versions of the Saga on Blu from CVI? I mean George was there, and surprised no one didn't bother to ask.
Off-topic here, but regarding George's appearence at Celebration VI; did anyone even happen to ask George about releasing the original unaltered saga on Blu-ray? I know what he said at Celebration V, but did anyone ask him just for the heck of it?
I wasn't sure about this but after looking at the trailer, it seems decent. I won't say it's great but it's kinda not bad either. I think I'll give this show a chance.

I have some info on this set:
-It includes 4 versions: Producer's Cut, Director's Cut, Rough Cut, and TV Cut with the first 3 cuts anamorphically enhanced
-Has a 5th disc loaded with bonus features including BTS Footage, Screen Tests, Trailers and TV Spots, and a home video promo reel for Halloween 5.
And that's all I'm gonna say (don't wanna get banned).
One with the Force now. RIP. :(
IMDB has a comparison between the 154 Minute Cut and the TCM Cut. Perhaps this can help you (Warning: Spoilers!):

Also, I was kinda thinking this for the fanedit's taglines:
"Longer, madder, and most of all, funnier (even though it was already funny)"
"If you thought it was mad already, you're mad wrong!"
"If you thought it was mad already, you're mad!"
Do you know if the missing footage is found as an extra on the OOP double-sided DVD or the recent Blu-Ray release. Incidentally, I reccommend using the Blu-Ray transfer as the source since the DVD in DNR'd (you can tell by the opening by Saul Bass).
I'd like to recommend a Family Guy Volume 9: CENSORED preservation. Basically, it's the episodes from the Volum 9 DVD except they're the censored TV Versions. Being a fan, I prefer to watch Family Guy censored.
If George was aware. I think you need to tell certain web news outlets to get the word spreaded. If that could work, maybe George will consider releasing the OOT on Blu (and maybe the prequels) with new state-of-the-art restorations with the DVD extras, original theatrical soundtracks (Mono, Stereo), plus more. If George did that, then all will be forgiven with the 2011 set and we can continue to enjoy SW. I mean, do it now and be done with it.
Mainly, this is what versions should be included for all films:
-Theatrical Version
-97 SE OT
-DVD Version
-Blu-Ray Version
-6.1 DTS-HD MA plus original soundtracks and Laserdisc mixes for the theatrical versions of the OT.
-All extras from every VHS, Laserdisc, DVD, and Blu-Ray release plus new and discovered content.
Thank you very much from one Zombie film fan to another. :)

ThiefCobbler4ever, which endings are you talking about? I can have it go about 3 ways if I let users choose. And how would I go about doing that, through my DVD authoring program?
1. Shark blows up (DVD Ending), Jake Lives
2.Shark get's stabbed, Jake dies.
3. Shark get's Stabbed, Jake Lives
Are you referring to how the shark dies? Or just the general ending, Jake living or getting killed by the shark?
-JawsTDS
Well, I mean you have to viewer choose any of the 3 endings.
