I don't know if this has been talked about before, it's an awfully big thread to look through, but will there be any attempt to add the markings to the full size Snowspeeders so they're more like the miniatures with the red areas on the rear and the front ?!

Snowspeeders

Yes, I believe that's been mentioned.

Ady, regarding the request of Yoda's facial expression, why not try out a sample scene just for the hell of it to see how it would work out. You could do a split screen and show the difference. It would be interesting to see how it would look. If the effect isn't distracting it just might work.

Like TOTALLY! (oops, do I sound like some valley girl or what?)

Yes, please do this!

Almost like how in ROTJ, certain shots look lamost like they were recorded on an old cam-corder, and not a camera...all grainy and out of focus.

I've always wondered about that. It's so strange and stands out like a sore thumb! But it was obviously a conscious decision, right? Right? :p

When was that? I never noticed anything like that.

I don't think this was mentioned before, so I'll say it:

After the droid attaches Luke's new hand, the next shot you see it in, it's turned off. It just seems kind of weird that he is just turned off at that point. Maybe make his eyes dim gradually until they are off during that shot so it won't be so abrupt.

The only thing I'd have done differently to the crawls was to make "ANH" into the '77 version with just "STAR WARS," then make new title cards for "EMPIRE" and "JEDI" based on their logos to replace the "STAR WARS," while removing the "Episode *: Etc." "subtitle." Mainly so I could pretend there were only 3 movies. But it's far too late for that suggestion.

That's a good idea, except I'd like it better this way:

Movie Title Opening Crawl Title

ANH Revisited Star Wars

ESB Revisited Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

ROTJ Revisited Star Wars: Return of the Jedi

All I'd want is for the Episode #s to be removed, but since ANHR is done, then forget it.

Why not fully remove the 2nd original Wampa shot (the one lunging at Luke), replace it with an SE Wampa shot (such as the one where it rises and faces Luke) and make the 1st original Wampa (the one who attacks the Tauntaun) look more like the SE Wampa? The 2nd original Wampa looks the worst anyway, and that shot is the one that should be fixed.

I couldn't resist posting the two changes I noticed. I won't directly put them on here till everyone has had a look, but I'll post the links for the curious:

Change 1

Change 2

change 2 looked really shopped in that video. I guess HD is a lot less forgiving! Of course, it's still in early development as well.

I agree, and since it's such a good change, I hope Change 2 will look better in the finished product.

Also, if any other changes were made, please post pics.

This is the only shot of the shield generator model I could find. It's from Star Wars Chronicles. I sent you a PM Ady with a link to a 300dpi TIFF version.

Why are the sections of the shield generator at the top right of the page so fat? That's not how the generator looks in the movie.

I found these pics:

I'm not sure how accurate this one is or where it came from. It might be CG:

It seems a little different (in coloration) from the image used for the SW Card Game:

I can't see the first pic. It says that I don't have permission to access that file.

Same here... Have permission, I do not. However, I used my noggin and got it anyway. Here's the pic from your first link....

Yup, that's definitely CGI. Probably not gonna work for Ady.

That probably won't cut it, but it's all I found.

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time

Well, I've just watched Star Wars Revisited for the first time. Amazing job. Just perfect. I love the new Obi-Wan vs. Vader duel, love the Cantina sequence, and you've given the Death Star trench run some much-needed excitement. The rearranged scene in Obi-Wan's hut flows so much better now! This is definitely replacing my 2004 ANH DVD! And yes, at least for me, this version beats the original '77 version. I just hope you can give the other films of the saga this much improvement!

I can't believe I just noticed this, but is that Zuckuss at the right of the screencap? If it is, then that's two bounty hunters in this scene!

It is actually the Zuckuss head on a 2-1B body.

Um, why???

Zuckuss isn't a droid, so WTF?

To extract the ISO:

1) Download WinRAR

2) Open the first file (should end in "part01.rar" or something similar) using WinRAR, then extract the ISO to wherever you want (it will automatically extract it from all of the parts, be patient and wait till it's all done)

Now, when I say "using WinRAR ... extract the ISO," when you open "........part01.rar" (or whatever it's named, but the first part) in WinRAR, you'll have the option to "Extract To..." - that is what you want. Save the ISO to wherever you want, desktop, documents, whatever. Then, using whatever program you have at your disposal, burn the ISO to a Dual-Layered DVD.

OK, thanks. What do I do with the md5 file that is the first file (the one that comes right before the "...part01.rar" file)?
