^That's true. It's hard sometimes when we don't get a daily update. Haha.

It's still great to throw ideas around, but now that the matter is somewhat closed, it should maybe be done somewhere else ('Can anything be done...' etc...) I still figure someone will make a post ANH:R version of their own. We know that Adywan has given his blessing for serious editors to use it as a base, and there have been tons of great ideas that could be implemented.

Here's the thread Ripplin was referring to, for those who might have missed it:

... reversing the left and right surround is not difficult at all...

From what I remember, it's only the music in the rear channels that is reversed - the sound effects are correctly positioned. So, in order to fix the issue, you would need to isolate the music from the effects. Not easy.

Sometimes I wonder how people could notice things like this.

Seems like the wrong place to wonder this...

I think i need to step in before it gets out of control.

IF, and its a very big if, i do a v2 DVD it will only have 2 changes at the most:- the spinning starfield and maybe the torture droid needle. Nothing else. The V2 would only really be done if i decide to do an audio commentary track. I don't want to do any more work on ANH. There is no point suggesting fixes and changes because, i'm sorry, but they just won't happen. I really need to move forward, not back.

I hope you understand :)

I'm perfectly happy with my copy of ANH:R.  You should obviously spend your time as you see fit.

- The Palpatine crony's tongue flapping thing was weird. I guess most editors cut that, because I can't even remember it.

Palpatine's crony is Mas Amedda. The tounge flap happens in a deleted scene, which is probably why you don't recall seeing it before.  Many editors have not inserted that scene, and of the ones that have, many have deleted that part (for good reason).  But I have seen a few edits that kept it in.  The cutlist I just finishded (Sithlord) had it in, and I remember seeing it in at least one other edit.

"One small note, however.  The shot that shows the new Tie reveal says that it features "GC Tie's" rather than CG."

Well, at the risk of being pedantic, that should be CG TIEs, no apostrophe.

Agreed - I quoted doubleofive.  But I thought one nitpick was enough for one post :-)

Er...I think you just did.

But i didnt mention paying  money to someone .

True.  Perhaps you can openly mention money on the forum after all.

The U.S. $5 bill is my favorite paper currency.  There, I've said it.

Sorry.  Back on topic...

We've decided to allow animated GIFs for now, as long as they do not exceed the maximum image dimensions given above, and are not greater than 100KB in size.

I'm disappointed that only a small number of members have voluntarily amended their signatures. Does anyone actaully read these announcement threads?

*Raises hand*

STAR WARS: EP V &quot;REVISITED EDITION&quot;<strong>ADYWAN</strong> - <strong>12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW</strong>
Time

Hello everyone!  Been lurking for at least a year but finally decided to join up.  ANH:R was amazing and I'm really looking forward to this one as well.

This may have been mentioned before, but continuity-wise it's baffling that there were THREE types of battle droids (of which presumably thousands were built) around at the time of the Naboo blockade and Clone Wars, but none have ever been seen since. Did they all self-destruct at the end of the war?

Sidious had a line near the end of ROTS where he told Anakin to send a message to shut down all droid units.  They were infinitely inferior to clones.  Presumably they were all sent to the junkyard.

I haven't registered and the forums won't let anybody who doesn't have an account register. So anything going on at fan edit forums I am clueless to.

Same here.  Anyone who wants to share info from that site over here would have my thanks.

Hey guys, sorry I'm a little late bringing this up but I only just registered here yesterday (been lurking for a while).  If you want to register on faneditforum.com so you can keep up with ID's thread , you just have to follow this link:

http://www.faneditforum.com/register/register.html

and then send an email requesting your membership.  The auto-register feature was disabled a little while back to defeat bots.

ID has had some personal stuff going on that has rightfully delayed things, but he's still moving forward with the project.

Most current posts from all forums on one page?
Time

Hi there - long time lurker, first time poster.

Something I have seen elsewhere, but I haven't noticed here, is the ability to list the most current posts all on one page (regardless of forum).  This allows you to do all your browsing from one page instead of having to visit each of the forums.

If I missed this function, my apologies.  Otherwise, would love to see this.
