Good stuff - what about hearing Ming the Merciless laughing? LOL.
cap said:GREEDO: I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time. Why would Han risk Scenario #2 when he can have Scenario #1?HAN: Yes, I bet you——
[BLAM!]
[HAN falls over, dead.]
Han knows from the SE that Greedo can't shoot straight.
LOVE that bonus! A much more noble way to go LOL.
Hey gang, I think I forgot to mention this. I went ahead and posted links to all the prequel fanedit cutlist scripts I've done so far over at FE.org:

Hope some of you find some use in these.
brash_stryker said:The problem with the Obi Wan Kenobi: Space Detective storyline is that it goes absolutely nowhere and makes not only him, but the entire Jedi order look like retards because even after unconvering an obvious conspiracy, they do nothing about it, but instead play right into its hands.
And specifically, the map reader scene really makes Obi Wan look like an idiot. It's a very cool looking scene, but he really couldn't figure out that the planet was erased from the archive? Even after mentioning himself the effects of gravity still remaining? He never even considered flying off to where the planet should be? Maybe if the youngling who had the right answer had also trained Anakin, the empire would never have been born...
I've been working on a project to provide complete cutlists (in script form) of every Star Wars Prequel edit I have gotten my hands on. I thought I would share the cutlists I've completed so far.

I've also created a spreadsheet summarizing most of the edits made by the different editors, sortable by character or time.
Ep1 Summary Spreadsheet
Ep2 Summary Spreadsheet
Ep3 Summary Spreadsheet
My personal opinion is that a ridiculous electrostatic globe does need to be explained. Or better yet - cut out completely.

Here's *everything* JasonN did for AOTC:

And if you are interested in what was done in his other edits, or what other editors have done to the prequels, follow the link in my sig.
EDIT: Just remembered you have to be a member of that forum to follow my sig link. If you aren't a member, let me know what other edits you are interested in and I'll post the links to the cutlists.
Timstuff said:I really like the idea that Dooku isn't really evil-- he's an idealist who sees the corruption in the Republic, and is trying to do something about it. One question though: would the connection between him and Sideous be removed completely, as in the scene where he meets up with Sideous at the end is gone? I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, it would show that Dooku is playing both sides, which keeps his true motives a bit more ambiguous. However, on the other hand, if he really is an idealist it's possible that he under no circumstances would lower himself to working with a Sith, even if he's going behind Sideous' back. I'm not really sure which way it should go, but also I did like that there was some foreshadowing to the Death Star in Episode 2 (though I do feel like showing its construction in ROTS was unnecessary and chronologically sloppy).
Have you watched JasonN's edits? He completely cut Dooku's relationship with Sidious, including that scene at the end of AOTC.
Bingowings said:I don't know if you have seen the Sunderland edits but combining those edits with your re-dub and you'll have a really watchable Jar-Jar.
Did you mean Slumberland? Or do I need to track down another prequel trilogy?
It's sort of on-topic...lots of crying going on LOL
This went from strange to stranger...
went to check mirax out, but didn't feel like reading through the 200 plus pages of the "rankings" thread.
I did a search for Biff to catch up on what I had missed. I was expecting more posts.
TMBTM said:In short, I want to bring back that scene in a Grindhouse edit of Star Wars
Hooray!
Wow, as if someone said "Beetlejuice" three times.
CompMovieGuy said:stop yelling....
Dayv has been doing that here for, what, five or six years? Certainly much longer than you or I have been here. You'll PROBABLY get used to it - I actually find it kind of entertaining now. Of course, if everyone started doing it...not so good.

Why not film your own arm again?
Because he doesn't have robotic parts inside it, duh... ;)
How do you know he doesn't? ;)
I don't think anyone could explain that.
I'm quite familiar with Ric, believe me. He's a stand up guy if there ever was one. Always makes sure you understand exactly what is going on.
Well that's confusing.
Anyway, welcome to the forums Ric. I am currently eating a ham sandwich.
Bingowings said:The only problem I have with the ROTS crawl is the first word "WAR!" the whole series is called Star Wars so why should we be surprised that there is a war going on (especially as this was underlined in the end coda of the previous episode)?
Ric Olie wrote the crawl.
Looks fine to me...
