That would be very cool.  I don't edit but I'd love for others to do upmixes where the dialogue is not sent to the rear speakers.

Just thought I'd mention that I'm NTSC but have watched a few PAL fan edits, and I always notice the speed-up.  Dialogue sounds as if it has been slightly affected by helium.
