Pardon if I misunderstood, but did you try that link for The Music Shop? They look like a multi-store outfit in Australia that you might just be able to call directly to find out the answer. And if you just take a shot and it's not PAL, I assume it would be easier to ship back there than to the UK. Maybe even ask if they would cover return shipping if it turns out to be NTSC when you get it.
