I don’t exactly like how IMDb seems top be getting more commercialized.

I saw a video on that a while back.
If you can, may I have a link to that video?
Light rant/minor pet peeve
It’s super annoying to get a “best of” CD and find out that all the tracks are re-recorded, especially when they’re not as good as the original recordings.
I know that pain
Thanks. I’m glad I’m not the only one.

That it’s already too late
Ditto. I have anxiety.
Also, Superweapon VII, what the hell is your new avatar?
Ahh, thanks.
Yeah, I get it, they’re a separate community to people with physical disabilities, but “neurodivergentphobic” sounds absolutely stupid and disrespectful to the Greek language.
Speaking of which, it’s a shame how much the suffix “-phobia” has been misused like crap by millennials and so it’s hard to take the suffix seriously anymore.

A movie must have characters that I can relate to or/and can get emotionally attached, has to have a great narrative, a very well put beginning middle and end and acting has be at least subpar. If a film lacks any and or all the movie will fail.
Damn. When did this become unpopular?
If you’re a fan of Surrealist film, this will be unpopular.
As well as Monty Python, Airplane, Naked Gun, and other surreal and nonsensical comedies.
With studios in the news for deleting films they don’t consider profitable from streaming services, having a collection of over 700 physical films is a worthwhile investment not only for your own library but for film preservation.
Agreed. I still use streaming services occasionally, but I’ll always love physical media. It makes life simpler, quality over quantity.
neruodivergentphobic
RIP Greek
(I’m neurodivergent myself, BTW)

I curse ALL of the big companies (Google, Amazon, Disney, Facebook/Meta, ect.) with very bad luck.
Lol, good one.
Audacity closed without warning and I lost lots of my work.
By the way, just as a bonus, I curse Microsoft with bad luck. May Microsoft have very bad luck from now on.
EDIT: I curse ALL of the big companies (Google, Amazon, Disney, Facebook/Meta, ect.) with very bad luck.
Fuck you forced updates. Whoever decided to make Windows updates mandatory, burn in hell. I hope Microsoft goes bankrupt.
Speaking of the above comment, superhero movies, and superheroes in general, have overstayed their welcome. They were made as depression/wartime inspiration nearly a century ago and now seem to solely exist for the big bucks and mindless entertainment.
MCU really stands for Milked Cow Udder.
I’m so fucking sick of superhero nonsense topping the film charts. It’s the most basic, unoriginal and bland form of entertainment nowadays.
We remember the good old stuff because the bad old stuff wasn’t worth remembering. But we see the good and bad new stuff both as it’s happening.
So old stuff is automatically better but only because the bad stuff got throwed away already.
I think you hit the nail on the head. It’s exactly the same reason why old music seems so much better. The old movies you watch are just the best stuff at the time it was made. Sure, the old days got Star Wars, but also got crap like Slapstick of Another Kind and forgettable experiments like Modern Problems.
Now, I prefer the aesthetic of older movies (mainly pre-1985), but that’s just a preference and doesn’t say anything objective.
Another reason could be the shift in style of films. Everything changes, and so does film, and so it’s also likely your inner misoneist judging new movies.
Also, the MCU stands for Milked Cow Udder.
Oh yeah, and as well as Optimus, the channel “Moon” is even worse. He’s got video titles such as “You will never do anything remarkable”, “The decline of masculinity” (!!!) and “Disney: the most evil company in the world”. His videos are basically negativity-fueled essays. I haven’t subscribed to Moon (duh) but the shitty YouTube algorithm sometimes recommends his videos. I did find a comment the first video I mentioned calling his negativity out, but I’m certainly not looking through all the doomer comments that bury that one.
NTFs are a form of greed. Nothing more.
Four words.
Slapstick. Of. Another. Kind.
Today is “World Emoji Day”…
I prefer NiN’s Hurt to Johnny Cash’s cover (which is still fantastic). I personally find the original more relatable.
No, I do not know who he is, and from you’re description, I’d rather keep it that way. Do yourself a favor and unsubscribe. You’ll be surprised. There have been times I’ve unsubscribed from channels I still watched regularly thinking I’d come back later only to find I was happy to move on.
Yeah, thanks. I’d just like to say that by “pure negativity” I mean that since he’s a social/political commentator, he mostly touches on the negative side of the political/social world.
His name is Optimus and all his content is negative?
Nice meme, but do you actually know who he is?
Also, not all of his content is negative, but the vast majority is negative.
tl;dr: fandoms and social media suck.
Yep.
Agreed 100%. Stay off sites like YouTube, Dreaddit Reddit, Twatter Twitter, and Instagloom Instagram.
Seriously, Google? My new Android phone is super quiet even on full volume with headphones to “pROtEkT hEErINg”?
Pox on you.
Also, I accidentally subscribed to Optimus whose channel is just pure negativity. I haven’t the nerve to unsubscribe since that was ages ago as well as the masochist/sadist in me somewhat liking a lot of drama.
That’s fucking it. No more social media, no more news, no more YouDieInside Youtube (apart from tutorials), no more Deaddit Reddit, and certainly no more browsing on the sadness machine I call half the internet. Like I said years before, fuck a quarter of the internet.
