I don’t like most musical films. They’re just too cheerful and romanticises a historic era sometimes, and probably most appeal to middle aged mums. However, there are some musicals I do genuinely do enjoy.
Fan-service is god-awful bollocks and ruins the aesthetic of a film other than to please horny teenagers. That ruins a lot of anime. Please, young-adult oriented anime where the female characters aren’t sexualised and look like a bug-eyed Disney character please?
I’m bloody tired of Every. Single. Fantasy. Story… taking place in a world modelled after medieval Europe. Like, how about a world modelled after imperial Asia, or… ancient Mesopotamia. Or, god forbid, pre-contact America?! Just stop trying to be like Tolkien.
What the flying fuck are the good plot advancing reasons for sex scenes other than to please the bloody audience?!

I wish I was born in a future generation where technology and life is better so I can live happy without my feeble human body!!! Life fucking sucks right now and I despise the human body and my old feeble mind. I wish I could be so much more than just some organism on a fucking rock while people suffer around me while I have to deal with awful mental health issues. Life fucking sucks. At least I’m glad I wasn’t born in the fucking Middle Ages or the 1950s and I’m not starving!!!

I fucking hate the way women are treated in modern media. They’re almost always seen in a sexual light, always have to fucking flash their bodies, be caked in makeup, fucking disgusting. I mean, yes, I know, stuff like this has been around for centuries, just look at some of Rubens’ stuff, but at least it was artistic in a way.
I bow down to media that portray women in a normal light, as a fucking human being.

Based on a quick Google, they exempted memes and GIFs under parody, so it’s not that bad. That said, I’m not aware of the other deatails, so maybe it’s actually still terrible. Was Brexit about the UK trying to save its memes?
