Nothing’s being stolen, and Doctor Who works canonically. The gender swaps actually aren’t to make women more equal to men, they’re almost all just attempts to make money on an existing property rather than come up with a new idea. The easy solution is just to not watch lazy remakes. That’s what I do.
I get that Dr. Who now can say regeneration sometimes changes gender, but I’m pretty sure that was from a request. And yes, the problem with remakes are that sometimes they are lazy, and I meant stolen as in to take a male idea (that isn’t original) and slap their female stamp on it. I didn’t mean literally steal. And if it’s just a lazy cash grab and not equalizing women then that means the gender swapped remakes are completely pointless.

I will admit, I felt a lot better about that shit when the comments linked me to this video showing that… thing in the video is actually an artist named Lea Porsager. The video has her interviewed with a normal face, normal movements and a normal voice… Thank god…
Now we have this to watch. Luckily it’s far less creepy and is funny weird… Not creepy weird. Oh, good. But unlike Dining Room, nothing is known of its origins. The actor is unknown.

It seems the Star Wars chunk of the forum seems to be the popular one right now, with off topic kind of dying. Again, I used to love Star Wars and Batman, but now those obsessions have died out. In fact my loving for Star Wars was why I joined in the first place. And my new threads seem to have died out.

For years now, I’ve been losing interest in all things Star Wars, and this year was the year I officially became an ex-Star Wars fan. The only reason I stick around’s because of the community, but ever since darth_ender jumped ship, more-and-more of the most interesting posters have disappeared, so the community’s barely a factor anymore.
General Star Wars Discussion is a borefest, Off-Topic (and the Sub-Forums Formerly Known as Off-Topic) are graveyards, and Script Writing/Rewriting’s a ghost town; with no large gravitational bodies to keep me in place, it’s only a matter of time before I leave orbit.
Same with me. I too have become an ex-Star Wars fan, in addition an ex-Superhero fan (Batman, Spiderman, Iron Man, ect.) The Off-Topic section is barely getting any new posts and threads. The Beautiful Women thread seems to have died, forever with the face of Mrs. Picky stamped on the front. On top of that, any new threads that have been created recently don’t seem to get any attention. One to Ten posts, dead. If these continue I might officially depart from the community.

Have you ever heard of ‘You’re the Guinea pig’? It is an obscure PSA believed to originate from Singapore, in which a man is strapped to a chair whilst being forced to take a drug which makes him violently convulse until his eyes roll into his head! All the while accompanied by some unnerving music which was either made for the PSA, or has completely faded into obscurity.
