The "EditDroid" Trilogy DVD Info and Feedback Thread (Released)
Time
Everybody hang on for a minute. We just might have the files for these afterall. I'll know a bit later tonight. Klokwork, could I have you hold onto the art just in case this doesn't work? I'll post as soon as possible.

Erik and MoveAlong, could you guys post the art on the first disc as a DVD-ROM folder. The discs are named STAR_WARS_FEATURES_1, STAR_WARS_FEATURES_2, etc. If the ones I sent out are labeled NEW or anything else, I'd appreciate the discs be distributed with their correct names. Just out of my GREAT respect for the EditDroid team. I was a bit sad to see these leaked, but what's done is done. Anyway, the PiF chain and the torrent should be going in the next day or so. I appreciate all your patience for these discs to let us release them correctly.

Info Wanted: Screen names and real names...

So I'm for screen names.

You were in DM as well? I'll have to take another look!

I think that actually works in favor of real names, at least if you want a bit of anonimity. One could put in some ones actual name (like Reginald Dillingham) and since everybody only knows whom ever by the screen name of, say,.. Artoo, then he is hiding in plain sight. Not that I'm hiding from anybody.

Info Wanted: Screen names and real names...

Hey all,

As I was outlining my various preservation projects I’ve got in the works, I started listing folks for a thanks in the credits. It occured to me I haven’t really seen any protocol for this and was wondering what everybody thinks about using our screen names vs. our real names. Granted, I’m just thinking in general terms and not about anything I am working on now (it’s way too early for that for my stuff).
Personally, I don’t mind having my name out there, but others undoubtedly feel differently. Thoughts?

Sluggo's Star Wars Trailer Contest *Next contest begins April 25th*
Time
Well a day late, but the judges have spoken.

Out of six enteries to the contest, the winners are

First Prize: Jambe Davdar (not real name) for a serious kick@$$ Return of the Jedi trailer
Second Prize: Jon Schell for an awesome TPM trailer.
Third Prize: Goose (not real name) who put together a great ESB trailer.

I'll post these on the youtube with the permission of the authors this week. These also will be featured on my trailers DVD project pending their approval, of course.

This was a fun contest to host. The talent of so many folks is incredible. I'll definately be doing another one of these in a couple of months, so plan ahead and start the next batch. I expect competation will be a bit tougher next time.

"The Clones Revealed" (Released)

Daveytod, I forgot to mention this in the review I sent you. I really liked it. It re-affirmed to me what a cool movie Episode II could have been. Granted you are working with possibly the most hated item GL has put out since the Holiday Special, but don't let that scare you off of the project. I think you have a fine bit of editing alchemy going on with this. I can already see me watching this more than the actual DVD of Episode II.

# Mark Hamill did most of his own stunts in the film. The scene where Luke Skywalker falls from Cloud City onto the Millennium Falcon—which was later reshot due to film damage-caused an injury to Mark Hamill's wrist. Unfortunately, most of the footage—including Luke Skywalker's landing on the hull of the Millennium Falcon—was omitted from the final film.

I can't find this over there... link please!
