There are only 4 cut scenes on the BTM disc. The Luke/Treadwell scene, the 2 Anchorhead scenes and the rough cut of the cantina sequence.

These scenes have already been captured with a decent quality, but they really need a serious capture and clean up. At first, I wouldn't have thought it possible, but after seeing some of the work on this site I'd bet we could do some awsome things with them.

I was wrapping up the Clones Revealed cover and it reminded my how cruddy my The Sith Revealed cover was. So I re-did the whole thing. It's the same layout as before, just cleaner.

Thanks to MoveAlong for helping me out with this. I'm laughing with tears of joy. My own fancy logo.. hehehe

It is going to be interesting to see the effects of this program on future fan projects. I don't know whether this makes our projects cooler or us nerdier

Congress can't balance the d@mn budget, but they certianly have time for this. And don't even get me started about their inquiry into steriod use in MLB. Okay, rant over. I do look forward to seeing everything digital.

To be fair, one doesn't need to be crunching video to be in charge, but it would help, I suppose. If the Ranch is truely for the fans and by the fans, I don't really care who is in charge as long as we all get a say. And ol' CC would get my vote as I think his ideas in the Ranch thread were pretty good. But we realy ought to take this discussion back to the Ranch anyway. No need cluttering TM thread with this.

The Art of Star Wars is nice, but..

you might as well as call it The Star Wars Insider. I kinda like Star Wars: A New Look. Maybe something similiar?

'Starting Wars' fits the pattern the best, but I think it is too vague. The problem with fitting title to the pattern is the name 'Star Wars' is different than 'The Empire Strikes Back' and 'Return of the Jedi' in that both 'Empire' and 'Jedi' are accepted alternative names to the full titles while there is no short version of the title of 'Star Wars' or 'A New Hope'. No one calls it 'Star', or 'Hope' or anything else. It's pretty much 'Star Wars'. All of this is just pointing out the obvious to show that the pattern can't be perfectly matched. All the more reason to not worry about the pattern here and use the title that best reflects the project. I had liked 'From Starkiller to Star Wars', but I don't think that would fit either as I'm sure the focus of the movie won't be devoted exclusively to the evolution of the scripts from the early Starkiller drafts to the final version of the film.

OK, the good news and the bad news.

Good news 3 out of 4 discs are perfect copies.
The bad is my my original copy of disc 2 is corrupt. I never actually watched it all the way through as I already had two other copies of Classic Creatures and Return of the Jedi. But I'm working with the EditDroid guys about replacing the disc. I don't anticipate a problem.

And I've got the artwork for the case and discs emailed to MoveAlong and Erik. And 3 of the 4 discs will be in the mail today. I don't see why we can't start torrenting discs 1, 3 and 4. I'll let you guys know what is happening with that 2nd disc as soon as I know

New batch going out tomorrow. Sorry about the confusion earlier, byt my computer was having a but of a nervous breakdown, but I've uninstalled some things so things are running smoothly. Ugh, don't remind me.

The rumor in question was posted June 30th, 2005. That meant that it was predicting a superfancy deluxe box set for release in November 2005. All we got then was the '04 DVD's without the bonus disc.

I do like the idea of having this as an epilogue to the movie, possibly after the credits. This would be similiar to the one ADigitalMan did for his edit of ANH. I think it played very well there.

I think it was obvious in some spots where stuff was edited out, but the edits weren't jarring. Mostly, it was a case of noticing that something was missing after the fact.

Why are you sad they're leaked?

Just that the EditDroid team wanted to keep their releases under wraps except to the small group of friends to whom they distributed the discs. So I was a bit sad that they got out only because I respect the guys wishes. I'm certianly excited you guys get to see their awesome work.

Erik, I checked out the disc 2 file on my HD and it seems to work fine. I'm not sure where the problem is, but I'll be sending you a new copy today.
