That's what I thought. It seems that this only creates more problems that it fixes. A green R5 unit seems just too noticable to just sneak into the shot. I'd either cut the shot entirely (or move it backward where it belongs) or paint out the droid all together. Just put another Jawa infront of him.

And could someone explain to me the purpose of the green R5 unit? I think I know why, but I want to make sure I am not missing anything serious.

There is a small moment in the detention block where Han is yelling to Luke that Leia is a "wonderful girl". During this scene, Han has a make up smudge on his stormtrooper armor below his chin which appears and disappears. This might be a candidate for a little something to paint out.

the original trilogy when it first came out(not real good quality but want to preserve anyway) Is this the 1986 versions or the 1992 versions?
the faces THX trilogy set 1995
the definitive collection 1993
the FIRST special edition set 1997

This seems like a great idea, although one of the versions plugged on this site is a pretty faithful represetation of the Definitive Collection. I don't remember which one. While the various releases are going to be cool to preserve, what I think will make a great set is preserving the extra junk that came along with each of those versions. For instance, the 1995 Faces release would need the Leonard Maltin interviews on there as well as menu pages reflecting the Faces stylings. One of the early versions (1986?) had a small montage about "Star Wars: The First Ten Years".
And of course, covers matching the disc or tape covers are a must (and one of my projects on the side, I have a small number at Grisan's page).

He's waiting on some good captures of the cut scenes from the Behind The Magic CD-ROM. Plus, I have some ideas I still need to send him. It's not his fault, it's mind and another guys.

Well, my From Star Wars to Jedi DVD cover is done. It is about as close to the VHS sleeve as I can get it. Check it out here. I'll leave 'em up for a week or so, so if anyone wants to host them in a more permant basis, be my guest.

I have my "Faces" edition of The Making of Star Wars up at the same address as above. I have cleaned it up and made a few slight changes. I really like the way it turned out. It isn't flashy, but it is a pretty faithful reproduction of the original VHS sleeve. I am re-doing my From Star Wars to Jedi cover so it will be a better match to the "Faces" VHS release.

Prillaman's site rocks. He even has a few of my covers there. I feel sorry for the guy though. His bandwidth is always getting trashed. If someone puts up this cover site, it would be great if they would mirror some of his images, so he can keep the bandwidth.
