STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time
I've never kissed anyone's censored. What kind of person is so insecure about themselves that they feel personally threatened when their favorite movie is edited? If you are not making any money on this project, LFL will probably leave you alone. Just like they have left all of our other fan edited projects alone. Soon as cash trades hands, thats where the problem begins. Carry on, I say. Don't let some creep get you down.

Did you just call us meth addicts?

Showing us a small clip is much different than copying and distributing the film.

So he's gonna log back in soon and find us fighting? Ugh.

If he promised he would not distribute it, then we shouldnt be bulling him. Besides, it sounds like he is looking for a way to distribute this if it was broadcast or if another tape existed somewhere, it might change things.

I knew it. He wasn't going to share.

He explained why, and I think it's a good reason.

Kun je je PM ook ff aanzetten in je profiel Darth Neo? Hij staat standaard uit namelijk. Misschien kun je hem beter uitlaten trouwens anders word je gebombardeerd met verzoekjes waarschijnlijk, hehe

I don't blame him. He would have been swamped with PM's in no time. I say give him some space while we look for another copy around. Quick and easy is the path to the dark side.

It's a fan edit, it's a challenge, it's a poll, it's a cry for help, it's... Star Wars: The Longer Versions!
Time

1.) An unfinished CGI shot of Jar Jar eating a clam before seeing the Federation ships moving his way.
2.) Jar Jar knocking over, catching, and trying to balance a series of containers in Watto's shop.
3.) A shot of a Naboo Starfighter spinning out of control (presumably after being hit).
4.) A brief clip from the Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan/Maul lightsaber fight (I might not include this, as their location might be on an alternate path than that shown in the final version).

Again, if I'm missing anything, let me know! This is actually pretty fun.

1. I believe this was on the Star Wars Omnibus Special (babyhum release #12)
2. I think this was in the Jar Jar tone poem from the official site
3. and 4. are both in the montage of clips at the end of the TPM documentary on cut scenes. Some have the Rickster talking over them. The spinning fighter shot (although a bit shorter) was also in one of the TPM trailers.

I'm starting to feel like I need to apologize to everybody I have ragged on for having memories of weird clips of items they swore they remember. Between this Making of Empire Strikes Back doc and the recent findings of the early 70mm prints of Empire, I'm starting to doubt my views on other 'urban legends' like the grappling hook.

On another note, how cool would it be if LFL actually gave us an official release of this doc this year?

I can't wait to watch this clip. I was chatting with my (OT.com lurker) friend Brad last night and we came to the conclusion that no matter what Fox or LFL does, 2007 is going to be a great year for Star Wars projects.

Having said that, we ought to be careful we don't scare Darth Neo off with our enthusiam. We don't him taking his toys and disappearing.
