Chapters in DVDLab
Time
**Note that I am recycling this thread, it used to be about something else. No sense in cluttering up the boards with my questions**

I was working on a demo of my stuffs in the DVDLab Pro and I found that I can only put in 99 seperate movie clips. Of course, I have about 130 by my last count. So I need to figure out something else. Am I right in thinking I can dump all of my Empire Strikes Back trailers in the same movie file, seperate them by chapter markers and have them seperately playable from a unique menu? And would I be have to do anything particular to make this work?

Sluggo's Star Wars Trailer Contest *Next contest begins April 25th*

Johnny, that should be fine. I talked to one of my pals who helps judge these things and we agreed that the farther things go towards the EU, the less likely we'd vote for them. It really depends on the quality of the source material you use and what you are able to do with it. For instance, this probably wouldn't win any awards for quality, but I had fun making it.

And Goose's awesome trailer for The Empire Strikes Back is finally up. Check it out here.

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time
I was watching DE's excellent edit this morning and I remembered one thing that might use your expertise. Right before the Falcon blasts it way out of Mos Eisley, Han and a bunch of stormies exchange some shots, there is some stuff blowing up and they take off. The trooper closest to the falcon is running towards the falcon when an explosion behind him knocks him over. The only thing is, he's just jumping in the air, he topples over and lays there. It just looks goofy. And the take is repeated in the film, so you see the same action cut in pieces. Is there anything that can be done with this? Maybe a blast actually hitting him or some debris knocking him over?

Requiem for a Clone War dream... (2003 series) (* unfinished project * - lots of info)
Time
I think the camoflague looks great on the clones, although it would be weird for them to arrive there with it on. Maybe they could high-tech uniforms where the clones arrive, they push a button on their uniforms and the uniforms change color to adapt to their surroundings. Like a chameleon. If there isn't a button you could use, you could dub in a line about "Activate interactive armor" or something like that. Just a thought.

The legendary "Starkiller Ranch" Thread
Time
Resident Hero at OT.com? That would be awesome. I was actually takling about nominating a "Forum Member of the Month" with a friend of mine just yesterday. We couldn't decide between Adywan, Jambe or DE.

This is good news, indeed. We ought to be in a position where there are shots for him to work on once his edit is done. Have we determined which film we are working on first?

Marv, I think that would work better, although audio might be more flexible than video. I've seen the Grevious/Vader parallels on line but I'm not sure it was in this thread. In case anyone missed it, I think portraying Grevious as some type of proto-Vader would make for an interesting thread. Maybe a scene or line early in the movie explaining Grevious used to be a fierce warrior, maybe he had force abilities or something before some Jedi knocked him into a pit (or reactor - we could modify the TPM scene once we got to it to have some type of 'splosion when he hits bottom - paralleling Palpy's untimely demise in Jedi). Finally, in the duel, he reveals himself to be Quigon's killer. Or something.

It would also parallel Vader's own creation nicely.

Sluggo's Star Wars Trailer Contest *Next contest begins April 25th*
Time
Oh, yeah. Doh! I'm gonna try to get it going this week. Between having some crazy deadlines at work, PiF chains (I think I sent out 20 copies of Returning to Jedi) and having to buy a new burner, things have been a little crazy at SluggoCentral.

I actually have been having a little bit of trouble with the last trailer as the audio is on a seperate track and I have currently forgotten how to join it to the video.
