So Apparently Del Rey is putting out another shitty 9 novel series following Legacy of the Force. (Spoilers inside)

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, the Legacy series takes place 100 years after ROTJ. From JediNet.com:

The future of Star Wars is here in an all-new series set more than a century after Return of the Jedi and the New Jedi Order!

The Jedi Temple is attacked, an Emperor is betrayed, and the Sith are born anew! A lot can happen in a hundred years, but all of the above happens just in this first issue! Not since Luke Skywalker first stepped aboard the Millennium Falcon has the galaxy seemed like such a vast, exciting, dangerous place!

See, they had to take the series that far out in order for people to accept that they wouldn't see Luke, Han, or Leia.

Isn't that pretty much the same plot of the prequels? And we know how well that turned out.

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

Sorry if this has been asked already but when can we expect a DVD release for this?

Always in motion is the future. Ady doesn't have a deadline yet. I can't blame him for that as he has had to go 'back to the drawing board' more than a few times with this project.

He'll let us know when he is good and ready.

Star Wars, Take Two?
Time

I've wondered this as well. I've hoped that if George just re-shot the classic trilogy, he could stop molesting the originals.

However, I don't think we would be so lucky as to get a 1080i Blu-ray version of the classic trilogy as a result of a reboot of the trilogy. It will still be ignored and we will just be more annoyed.

There seems to be absolutely nothing new about the Prequels release than their first individual release. Only they are boxed together. The Classic trilogy seems to fit the description of the GOUT release. Also the only difference is that they are boxed together.

If we get some new crap-tacular cover art, then that might be the only real difference from what we already have.

Here are the contents of the previouos prequel releases from shop.starwars.com:

Episode I

"This 2-disk DVD set of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace features commentary by writer-director George Lucas, producer Rick McCallum and more. Exclusive deleted-scenes documentary features seven new sequences. "The Beginning: Making Episode I," an all-new hour-long documentary film culled from over 600 hours of footage, including an insider's look at Lucasfilm and ILM during production. An award-winning twelve-part Web documentary series, never-before-seen production photo gallery, five featurettes, two multi-angle animatics of scenes in progress, "Duel of the Fates" music video featuring John Williams, DVD-ROM weblink to exclusive Star Wars content and much more! Available in widescreen anamorphic format."

Episode II

"This 2-disk DVD set of Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones features commentary by Writer-Director George Lucas; Producer Rick McCallum; Editor and Sound Designer Ben Burtt and more. Eight deleted scenes, three behind-the-scenes featurettes, 12 part web documentary of, "Making Episode II," "From Puppets to Pixels," an all-new, full-length documentary, "Across the Stars" music video featuring John Williams, DVD-ROM weblink to exclusive Star Wars content plus much more! Available in widescreen anamorphic format."

Episode III

"The two-disc Revenge of the Sith DVD includes 6 deleted scenes, a brand-new, full-length documentary produced by Lucasfilm Ltd.; two new featurettes -- one exploring the prophecy of Anakin Skywalker as the Chosen One, the other providing an in-depth look at the movie's eye-popping stunts; a 15-part collection of Lucasfilm's groundbreaking "web documentaries and the 78-minute documentary "Within a Minute."

The Revenge of the Sith DVD also offers access to a special Xbox-playable demo of two entire levels from LucasArts' Star Wars Battlefront II."

While we are on the subject of the approach to Cloud City, the 2004 Empire DVD has a cool animation of the Falcon breaking through the clouds to land before the DVD goes to its main menu. It might be worth looking at as a possible addition to the movie.

A little something from page 52

James Bond 007 WARHEAD (* unfinished project *)

I wish I wouldn't have announced this yet, only because I think it's going to take a little longer than expected. I recently got involved into a lot of work and it will be the fall at earliest before I can tackle this. Glad to see people are excited about it though.

Don't sweat it. Just let this thread slip into the murky haze of the dozens and dozens of projects in the works or on the backburner here and later on, you drop a warhead on us.

.... Lucas is currently envisioning a six-season arc for Clone Wars with possible more feature-film sequels in that time.

So could this mean a new movie per season? Six movies seems to fit Lucas's style.

And CO and Fang Zei, when are you guys going to get some avitars? I always like reading you guy's posts; it just would be nice to have a 'face' to go with the post. But I digress...
